    Sales Representative

    Roles and responsibilities

    • To execute direct sales activities and sell products to clients and achieving of monthly and annual sales targets given.
    • Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and market trends.
    • Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
    • Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. 
    • Focusing sales efforts to both existing and potential clients. 
    • Submitting orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
    • Recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
    • Developing strategies to increase sales volumes and market share
    • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, merchandising techniques, etc. 
    • Protect organization’s values by keeping information confidential.
    • Take 100% ownership of every situation with a client, ensuring issues are resolved to the client’s satisfaction
    • Keeping management informed by reviewing and analyzing reports; summarizing information; identifying trends and ensuring all reports are done and submitted on time.
    • Any other responsibilities that may be directed to you by your HOD

    Requirements

    • Degree/Diploma in sales and marketing or related field
    • At least 3 years’ experience preferably in the same industry  
    • 3-5 years’ experience and a track record of sales especially to B2B
    • Telemarketing and digital marketing skills; web and social media skills
    • Excellent verbal and communication skills
    • Proposal writing and bidding and render responses
    • Outgoing personality, Self-driven and result oriented
    • Work under no supervision and deliver under pressure
    • Customer oriented

    Sales Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and marketing expense controls. Execute said plan and meet sales goals.
    • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
    • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team. Provide ongoing training of the salespeople. 
    • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
    • Develop new avenues of marketing and lead generation.
    • Equip the sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
    • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
    • Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with prospective consumers and other related industries to help strengthen partnerships.
    • Leverage the existing network and expand the company’s product reach and repeat business through relationship building and exceptional customer experience.
    • Collaborate with the team to properly coordinate project implementation, and customer service support interface, and proactively address problems/customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
    • Strategic reporting on all sales activities including sales and prospecting activities, sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing and directing a sales team.
    • Successful previous experience as a sales representative and sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
    • Spoken and written English communication with the highest standards of professionalism is required.
    • Proficiency in customer relationship management. 
    • Capable of grasping the structure & intricacies of the business & markets.
    • Willingness and drive to learn quickly and become proficient in a unique field of work: the breeding and selling of premium puppies in the United States.
    • Must be a fast learner, highly self-motivated, capable of producing high-impact work without supervision, adaptable, and self-confident.
    • Creativity to solve problems and develop ideas to improve workflow and efficiency.
    • Mental and emotional fortitude to thrive in a fast pace, high-production, performance-driven environment. 
    • High business acumen with excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex information and adapt it to specific customers.

    Business Development Executive

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identifying new prospects and cold calling on potential customers 
    • Creating and maintaining strong relationships across the region with clients, the donor community and partner companies
    • Identifying project opportunities and collaborating with the team to drive and deliver successful proposals
    • Taking senior roles in projects and ensuring quality of delivery and client relationships remain strong during project execution
    • Preparation and tailoring of capability and technical documentation with assistance of the back office used in the tender processes, RFQs and RFPs
    • Submitting technical tenders on project opportunities.
    • Develop relationships with the key role players– i.e. Consultants, Contractors, Distributors and End users
    • Ensure regular customer visitation, making sure budgets are achieved, Projects /Quotes followed up, ensuring overall service delivery to the various customers
    • Drive positive customer service through appropriate attitude and action.
    • Complete the required reports on time (weekly and monthly)
    • Develop and implement strategies.
    • Expand the product and service offering within the various segments,
    • Regular presentations to customers
    • Attendance and assisting at trade shows / exhibitions
    • Achieve sales growth in line with the company approved budgets and targets
    • Delivering project wins in line with sales targets
    • Assist in conducting risk analysis and reporting on contracts

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree sales or a related field
    • Background in any engineering discipline is an added advantage. 
    • Minimum 5 years’ in extensive sales experience in selling engineering solutions to different industries such as government, parastatals or NGO’s 
    • Have excellent and strong relationships within the EAC region that can be leveraged to generate business.
    • Sales experience in a technical field selling to engineers and technical customers is desirable.
    • Experience in doing RFQs, RFPs and Tenders 
    • Good presentations skills
    • Must be able to work independently without constant supervision
    • Results orientated and sales focused
    • Must be willing to travel
    • Must have a valid driver’s license

    Website Order Processor

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review daily website orders
    • Process the orders on the company’s ERP system
    • Create shipping manifest for deliveries
    • Track customers deliveries
    • Handle any issues or discrepancies from customers regarding their orders
    • Communicate delivery timelines to customers
    • Perform product details updates on the website such as sale promotions, and uploading new products.
    • Update the Website master product information details periodically.
    • Generate monthly reports and analyze how products are performing.  

    Key Qualifications & Experience 

    • Business degree/diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution (Marketing option will be an added advantage)
    • With 3 years of experience at least 1+ years of experience in an e-commerce retail environment (preferred)
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
