    Process Engineer

    Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Food processing and manufacturing industry, is currently seeking to hire an experienced Process Engineer with a background in food processing equipment to join their growing team. The role will be responsible for process design, operation, and implementation. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability.

    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate development and implementation of programs to improve plant reliability.
    • Address key operational performance metrics in reliability improvement plans.
    • Works with plant management to set actionable plans in place.
    • Refine downtime collection process and support plant staff in analyzing downtime, determining root causes, and recommending long-term solutions.
    • Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
    • Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes.
    • Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
    • Lead plant efforts to reduce process variability leading to waste, rate loss or compromised quality.
    • Facilitate process improvement teams and train them in advanced concepts.
    • Lead efforts to ensure sop's are in place to sustain process performance improvements.
    • Support maintenance & engineering efforts to properly schedule and execute preventative maintenance.
    • Use a fact-based approach with data/statistical analysis to improve existing maintenance programs.
    • Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification.
    • Perform process simulations.
    • Manage cost and time constraints.
    • Perform risk assessments.
    • Provide process documentation and operating instructions.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Engineering, Food Science, or related course.
    • Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant operations or engineering experience
    • Food processing/manufacturing industry experience highly recommended.
    • Proven ability in improving reliability operations through practical use of CI tools such as Six-Sigma, Total Quality, Lean Manufacturing, TPM or related process improvement methodologies.
    • Proven project management and planning skills.
    • Excellent technical skills
    • Knowledge of process related standards
    • Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
    • Strong analytical skills and fact-based decision-making capability.
    • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
    • Well-developed computer skills in Excel & Access.

    Electrical Automation Engineer

    Our client, a manufacturing company is looking for an electrical Automation engineer to join their team. You will create automated systems for use in a production and manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with departmental and corporate leadership to determine existing automation capabilities and future opportunities, creating detailed project road maps for automation projects that support our business objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement automated systems for use in diverse manufacturing and production environments.
    • Specify automation and electrical components to meet customer specifications, application requirements, and industrial standards.
    • Create custom control panel layouts and bills of materials.
    • Lead collaborative discussions between leadership and key stakeholders to determine automation capabilities and goals.
    • Create detailed road maps to guide automation projects from conception to final implementation.
    • Support existing automation technology with component and process upgrades.
    • Design wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and one-line power distribution drawings.
    • Perform IO checkout and validation.
    • Perform enclosure FLA and heat dissipation calculations.
    • Create and maintain AutoCAD Electrical templates, blocks, and symbols library.
    • Organize and maintain project drawings and technical information.
    • Work with project managers and operations manager to schedule and prioritize tasks.

    Requirements and skills

    • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or relevant field.
    • 4-5 years proven experience in a similar role.
    • Experience working with SCADA and Allan Bradley systems.
    • Knowledge of high voltage and high-power component design (both AC and DC)
    • Familiarity with quality control standards
    • Ability to do software testing.
    • Experience with the design and implementation of automated systems, especially as related to manufacturing.
    • Strong ability with software testing and validation
    • Superb communication and organizational skills
    • Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
    • Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
    • Problem-solving abilities and strong organizational and communication skill

    Quality Assurance Manager

    We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for our client in the Food manufacturing industry to ensure that their products meet all necessary requirements and spearhead their FSSC certification process. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or development processes. He/she will inspect the final product to make sure it has been built with compliance to legal standards and meets customer expectations. The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products and services are capable to drive sustainable growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet the required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
    • Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
    • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
    • Review current standards and policies
    • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
    • Communicate quality standards and parameters to the QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
    • Coordinate product testing processes.
    • Participate in product testing.
    • Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues.
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
    • Review client, customer, and user feedback.
    • Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation
    • Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or relevant role
    • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
    • BSC/ BA in Quality discipline or related field
    • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage
    • A keen eye for detail and a result-driven approach
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
    • Proficient in MS Office and databases
    • Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
