    Dispatch Assistant – Operations

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Order Receiving and Verification: Receive customer orders from the warehouse and verify their accuracy, quantity, condition and documentation in preparation for dispatch.
    • Market Monitoring: Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products. Track and evaluate competitors’ marketing activities. Analyse the market trends, product performance and oversee the launch of new products.
    • Loading and Delivery Preparation: Safely and efficiently load goods onto delivery vehicles using proper stacking and securing methods, ensuring orders are correctly matched to designated delivery routes.
    • Documentation and Handover: Prepare and hand over accurate delivery documentation to the delivery team, ensuring acknowledgements are signed and returned as proof of delivery.
    • Customer Delivery Support: Support delivery operations by accompanying drivers when needed, assisting with unloading, confirming deliveries, and addressing basic customer delivery queries.
    • Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate dispatch records and submit required operational reports. Notify the direct supervisor of any incidents, damage, or discrepancies encountered during loading or delivery.
    • Coordination and Communication: Liaise professionally with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure smooth dispatch workflows and escalate any issues affecting delivery timelines or customer satisfaction.
    • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all company SOPs, safety protocols and hygiene standards during handling, loading and delivery processes. Participate in audits and training as required.
    • General Dispatch Support: Provide additional assistance in receiving, offloading and dispatch tasks during peak periods or in the absence of team members and perform other duties as assigned by Management. 

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • The minimum requirement is a KCSE certificate.
    • A Certificate and/or Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain will be an advantage.
    • At least 1 year of experience in a dispatch, logistics or warehouse environment.
    • Good understanding of delivery processes and basic inventory handling.
    • Proficiency in WMS and ERP systems is essential.
    • Experience in handling pharmaceutical or sensitive goods will be an advantage.
    • Fluent in English and Kiswahili.

    Medical Promotions Manager – Pharmaceuticals

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Brand Management and Medical Promotion Strategy: Develop and execute medical promotion strategies to strengthen brand presence among healthcare professionals (HCPs), ensuring ethical, evidence-based messaging and effective campaign performance.
    • HCP and KOL Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with HCPs and Key Opinion Leaders through scientific engagements, CME programs, and product-focused educational initiatives.
    • Campaign Planning and Execution: Design and implement integrated promotional campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support product lifecycle and launches.
    • Market Insights & Analytics: Analyse market data, prescription trends, campaign effectiveness and competitor activity to inform and refine promotional strategies.
    • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all promotional activities comply with regulatory requirements, PPB guidelines and internal SOPs, with proper documentation and approvals.
    • People Leadership: Lead, coach and develop a national team of Medical Representatives and Product Detailers, setting clear KPIs and driving continuous scientific training
    • Financial & Budget Management: Plan, manage and monitor promotional budgets, track ROI and contribute to annual sales and promotional planning processes.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Medicine or related life-sciences fields.
    • Postgraduate qualifications in Marketing or MBA is an added advantage.
    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing/promotion, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • Experience in HCP engagement, CME delivery, scientific promotion and medical field force leadership.
    • Deep understanding of the Kenyan Pharmaceuticals regulatory and clinical environment.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored to medical audiences.
    • Strong analytical, project management and campaign planning skills.
    • Proficient in CRM tools, promotional tracking, microsoft office and data reporting systems.
    • High level of integrity, discretion with data and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Medical Representative – Pharmaceuticals- Kisumu

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Sales & Marketing: Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to existing and prospective customers, achieve sales targets, track performance and identify customer needs.
    • Service Excellence: Stay updated on clinical data, industry trends and health sector developments to conduct informed discussions and adapt strategies.
    • Customer Service: Conduct scheduled customer visits, manage accounts, obtain orders, assist with payments and resolve complaints effectively.

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a Science-related course.
    • Diploma in Sales, Marketing or a relevant field is an added advantage.
    • Previous experience in pharmaceutical product marketing is preferable.
    • A minimum of 1.5–3 years of field sales experience in the healthcare industry, with proven ability to coach and motivate the sales force.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage vendors and internal stakeholders professionally and resolve issues collaboratively.

    Sales Representative – OTC Supermarkets

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Sales and Marketing: Promote and sell Harley’s OTC products while meeting sales targets, increasing market penetration and ensuring proper listing and placement of new products.
    • Customer and Service Excellence: Build strong customer relationships through regular visits, responsive support, effective merchandising, payment follow-ups and prompt resolution of customer complaints.
    • Reporting and Market Intelligence: Submit accurate and timely sales reports and provide market insights into pricing, product performance, launches and merchandising trends.
    • Compliance and Stock Management: Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements and SOPs, while maintaining adequate stock levels across the supply chain.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage vendors and internal stakeholders professionally and resolve issues collaboratively.
    • Experience in supervising or coaching junior staff, with strong leadership skills and the ability to promote a high-performance culture, will be an advantage.
    • High level of integrity, discretion with financial data and the ability to manage competing priorities, while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
