Lead and manage the fresh produce export unit, ensuring smooth end-to-end operations from sourcing to export.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve export targets and expand into new markets.
Oversee compliance with phytosanitary regulations, quality assurance, and international market standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, logistics partners, and international buyers.
Monitor supply chain processes to reduce wastage and optimize delivery timelines.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for the unit.
Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to departmental staff.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in export operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in agribusiness, horticulture, or fresh produce export, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
Strong knowledge of international export standards, certifications (e.g., GLOBALG.A.P., HACCP), and logistics.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/Export management systems.
