    Supply Chain Management Assistant III (4 Positions)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Issuing and "receiving stores;
    • Assisting in stock taking;
    • Reconciliation, preparation and maintenance of records

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must be in a possession of the following:-

    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- with a minimum of C- in Mathematics and English or Kiswahili or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution:
    • Diploma (CIPS) in Supplies Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

    • Disseminating business information;
    • Conducting business counseling sessions;
    • Conducting surveys of various business activities;
    • Appraisal of empowerment fund applications;
    • Sensitizing the business community on sources of credit available to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs);
    • Compiling and analyzing data on disbursed and recovery of loans owed to the empowerment funds

    •  Diploma in Commerce, Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, Entrepreneurship or its equivalent from a recognized institution; and have served in the position of projects/loans/credit officer for a period of at least six (6) years in the County Government of Makueni; and
    • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.

    Youth Polytechnic Instructor

     Duties and Responsibilities

    •  Theoretical and practical instruction of trainees in the specified area of specialization.
    •  Preparing and maintaining professional documents including schemes of work.
    •  Preparing lesson plans, lesson notes, and trainee records, teaching and learning materials, carrying out trainee assessments.
    •  Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment
    •  Organizing and conducting co-curricular activities
    •  Maintaining trainee discipline and offering guidance and counseling to trainees
    •  Any other lawful duty as assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time

    Requirements for Appointment

    •  Diploma holders in specified Technical field 
    • Possess KCSE qualification or its equivalent
    • Teaching experience of at least 2 years in a vocational training institution or its equivalent
    • Diploma in Technical Education or ToT Certificate will be an added advantage
    • Computer literacy will also be an  added advantage
