    Integrations & Microservices Engineer

    JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT

    The role holder will be responsible for all development and maintenance of software integrations done by the digital business. This is a planning and development role whose focus is the analysis, design, development, and management (technical support) of the division’s integrations and API Strategy. The role leads the team that does integrations and API management.

    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    •  A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. A Master’s degree in Technology or Business-related course is an added advantage
    •  Minimum 8 years’ experience in IT systems development within a large highly digitized organization designing, implementing and managing mission critical systems, with at least 5 of those years within systems development on Web, Mobile, Windows and Solaris/Linux platforms
    •  Certification and experience implementing best practice frameworks e.g., ITIL, PRINCE2
    •  Hands on experience in software development with major languages Java, C++, C# and practical experience using relation RDBMS e.g., Oracle and MS SQL etc
    •  Hands-on experience in Mobile development on Android, iOS. Windows Mobile development is an added advantage
    •  Hands on experience in Web Development (AngularJS, NodeJS, Asp.Net) and Web Servers (Apache, Tomcat, IIS and Nginx)
    •  Experience with Code Repository (Version Control) tools (SVN, Git)
    •  Deep understanding of industry standard formats and protocols (JMS, SOAP, XML/XPath/XQuery, REST and JSON)
    •  Excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
    •  Previous work experience with Spring framework
    •  Knowledge of RESTful API services
    •  Experience in supporting and/or implementing complex integration projects
    •  Knowledge of Apache Kafka and Kubernetes
    •  Working experience in Agile framework
    •  A good knowledge of the systems and processes within Financial Services industry

    Frontend Developer

    JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT

    The Frontend Developer will be responsible for all internally developed frontend applications in the Digital Business. This is a planning and development role whose focus is the analysis, design, development, and management (technical support) of the bank’s internally developed frontend applications on Mobile, Web and Desktop/Server platforms with the exception of ESB/SOA applications. The role leads the team that does Front applications development to deliver business strategy through the GITA by developing bespoke software applications within the Digital Business.

    Data Administrator

    Job Purpose Statement

    The Databases Administrator role is to design, plan, implement and support the databases in the organisation, and the related infrastructure. The Database administrator should be expert in operating databases in different platforms especially different operating systems, Cloud implementations, Storage platforms, core database platforms. The role should design databases for the required performance, capacity management considerations, and should be capable to align the performance database requirements with the costs in implementing and supporting the platforms.

    Ideal Job Specifications
    Academic:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

    Professional:

    • ITIL, OCA, OCP, OCM, other relevant professional qualifications in IT field would be an added advantage
    • Project Management certification and experience is preferred e.g. PRINCE2, PMP

    Desired work experience:

    Manager – Credit Policy, Quality Assurance and Compliance

    Job Purpose Statement
    The role holder is a member of the Credit Risk Management Team, tasked with:

    •  Review and update of the Group Credit Risk Management Policy
    •  Review of Credit Processes and procedures
    •  Review of Credit product guidelines
    •  Review of credit scoring models
    •  Provide adequate controls over the credit process
    •  Credit Systems analysis.
    •  Credit quality assurance analysis.
    •  Preparation of management reports

    Ideal Job Specifications

    • Professional: Professional qualification in Credit Management, Banking, Finance or any quantitative discipline is an added advantage.

    Desired work experience:

    •  Minimum 7 years working experience in Banking with at least three of those being in Managerial positions in Credit Risk Management.
    •  Working knowledge and effective application of all relevant banking policies, processes, procedures and internal control guidelines to consistently achieve required compliance standards or benchmarks.
    •  Knowledge and experience of bank practices that provide the basis upon which to provide guidance on activities/tasks in a manner that consistently produce high quality of service, drives quality improvements and continuously evolving operational changes.
