    Inventory/Production Clerk

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
    • Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items
    • Stock taking in the warehouse and reconciliation with SAP stocks.
    • Ensuring implementation of automation of warehouse processes.
    • Ensuring warehouse standard operating procedures are followed.
    • Enter purchase details (supplier’s information, invoices and pricing) into internal databases
    • Ensuring stock, the stocks is stored in accordance with the policy.
    • Ensuring the existing warehouse tools and equipment are utilized optimally and are in good condition.
    • Track and ensure all stocks, raw materials and work in progress have been accounted for using periodic stock counts.
    • Processes and appropriately documents returns as required following established procedures.
    • Any other duties assigned.

    Tailors

    Responsibilities

    1. Designing and sewing garments according to customer’s needs
    2. Tailoring and dressmaking
    3. Operate electric and manual sewing machines
    4. Sew garment and other items
    5. Assemble garment parts and join parts with basting stitches, using needles and thread or sewing machines
    6. Record required alterations and instructions on tags, and attach them to garments
    7. Fit, alter, repair, and make made-to-measure clothing, according to customers’ and clothing manufacturers’ specifications and fit, and applying principles of garment design, construction, and styling.
    8. Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes
    9. Understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs

    Qualifications

    1. Certificate or Diploma in Tailoring/Dressmaking or Fashion Design
    2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in tailoring
    3. Must have experience using an Electric Machine
