    Regional Technical Associates Analyst

    The Position

    The role holder will be responsible for bridging the gap between Technology and the business using supporting mechanisms and act as a first level bridge to business divisions, regional branches, international businesses, mergers & acquisitions. They must articulate business technology gaps but also balance them against what is technologically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create Awareness of IT offerings / policies / processes / procedures to business divisions across the group
    • Manager IT service surveys (carry out and follow up for resolution using Feedback)
    • Visit Regional Branches Physically and assist resolve any Technology Related Issues at the Branch while on the ground with support of other Tech experts at Group Head office.
    • Carry out basic trainings on the use of the Technology Tools – such as ITSM, emails and access of documents in the Intranet / Share point / website.
    • Share  developments, key Initiatives, and Innovations that Technology is running with (Those already done and those in Progress) that have an impact to Regional Branches.
    • Escalate any Technology Issues to the Relationship Managers that the End User Support person cannot resolve at site.
    • Share Feedback on areas of improvement and what Technology is doing right in supporting Branches- with the larger KCB Group Technology Team.
    • Evaluate branch technology tools at the branch i.e., PCs, Server, Printers, Counter notes, Network equipment and server rooms
    • Manage escalations pending from ITSM calls out of SLA.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Technology, Statistics, or a related field of study.
    • ITIL Foundation/ MCSA (Microsoft suite) certification.
    • 3 years’ progressive experience in IT.
    • 3 years’ experience in at least two IT disciplines such as Networks, System Support -T24/CQ/BPM, Hardware maintenance
    • 3 years’ prior working experience in a Support Environment
    • 2 years’ experience in data analysis and management reporting.

    Data Engineer

    The Position

    The Data Engineering role will be within the Data & Analytics Unit in Strategy Division. Reporting to the Head of Data and Analytics, the role holder will leverage creativity, business intuition, excellent communication, analytics, problem solving skills, and data management skills to manage data sourcing and processing workflows, advanced analytics ETL processes, data profiling solutions and automation of Analytics deployments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Together with the Data Scientist, partner with business leaders to ensure an in-depth understanding of requirements and the data required to create advanced analytics solutions.
    • Enable automation of advanced analytics solutions using data science algorithms and data structures associated with advanced analytics.
    • Create and maintain data pipelines which will involve data sourcing, extraction, transformation, profiling, storage, updating, indexing and maintenance of the advanced analytics data platform.  
    • Develop and automate metrics, dashboards and reports that consistently monitor and show data governance initiative trends (e.g. data quality reports) through the implementation of guidelines, standards and best practices for data management.
    • Process raw, structured and unstructured data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, writing SQL queries etc.) into a form suitable for analysis then consolidate into a data platform for consumption by advanced analytics initiatives.
    • Drive innovation through continuous re-engineering of data and advanced analytics jobs, extensive performance tuning and optimizing the application of data across all advanced analytics layers (acquisition, staging, profiling, cleansing, analysis, modelling, output).
    • Work with Business customers to understand business requirements and implement data solutions with business owners through the development of key business questions and datasets that will be used to answer those questions.
    • Help implement data management projects by working with key stakeholders (Technology and Business) and provide expert input, guidance, and feedback in such projects.
    • Work closely with product owners and business analysts to develop insights and data solutions.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation/manuals on configurations, setups and deployment of various advanced analytics solutions.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 4 years in a Data Engineering (or BI Development) Role.
    • Proficiency in SQL (Oracle PL/SQL), Python, Data Modelling, Warehousing and Wrangling Techniques.
    • Experience in use of any ETL tool e.g., Oracle ODI/Microsoft SSIS/SAP Data services/Alteryx or any other tool.
    • Experience in use of any Data Visualization tool such as OBIEE/Power BI/Tableau/SAP BI tools or any other tool.
    • Experience in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and storing large datasets from various sources (relational databases, semi-structured data in text files, logs and unstructured data in pdf files, websites etc.) with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Must have good understanding of software development practices, python programming language (specifically data engineering and data science) and database programming using Oracle PL/SQL.
    • Experience with various data modeling techniques, data warehousing concepts and data management principles.
    • Working knowledge and exposure to Data Visualization and ETL tools.
    • Ability to multi-task, respond well to pressure and deadlines, influence others, work well individually and in a team environment.
    • Must have a broad understanding of data governance concepts, data quality, data protection and privacy laws.

    Reporting to the Head, Integrated Marketing Communications, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the overall KCB Group Digital Marketing Strategy for social media platforms and all digital assets.

    • Champion the KCB Group Digital and Social media guidelines and adherence to the Social Media policy to protect and preserve the online brand integrity and tone of voice.
    • Review and enhance all digital communication materials to ensure adherence and consistency to the overall Brand Positioning, Values and Identity Standards
    • Manage the budgets for assigned areas and ensure adherence to Finance / Procurement processes and systems.
    • Work with analytics to identify key consumer insights to strengthen the development and execution of campaigns in conjunction with the overall marketing campaign, whilst monitoring the success of community engagements; ensure that ROI is measured, delivered and learnings captured to ensure continuous improvement.

    • 8 years’ experience in digital branding, marketing, and campaigns.

    Assistant Brand Manager Creative

    The Position

    Reporting to the Brand Manager Marketing Services this role is responsible for delivering high quality designs for use in internal and external communication campaigns.

    Key Responsibilities

    • In-house creative design – Create and amend minor creative artworks e.g. Job ads, Tender Notices and simple product artwork amends. Create all E-Shot campaigns. 
    • Proof Reading- Selecting and checking colors on all Bank artworks. Making sure that each page of the Bank’s artworks and the document, is uncluttered and well balanced
    • File Format enhancements – Converting files and sending the final product to the Bank’s Printing Companies or Web Agencies for online publishing.
    • Re-size of artworks- Re-sizing design elements to fit desired dimensions.
