    Brand Executive

    Introduction     

    The job holder will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies for the specific product segment to build brand equity and drive revenue and increase market share.
        
    Specification     

    • Area 1: Brand Management
      • In collaboration with the Brand Manager, develop and execute successful Annual Brand Plans as well as execute Activity Recommendations (ACRECS) aligned to the overall brand objectives.
      • Constantly evaluate existing brand initiatives and recommend new or revised ideas/concepts aimed at growing the business of the respective category
      • Work with Brand Manager and agencies to develop appropriate/innovative Through the Line executions cycle activities to ensure the plans are brought to life in the outlet level.
      • Work alongside the Brand Manager in using Brand insights and Retail Audit information to assess and constantly evaluate the Health of the brands within respective categories
    • Area 2: Marketing Campaigns Development & Execution Management
      • Work with the Brand manager to execute marketing campaigns for the assigned market segment to enhance brand visibility and drive growth in sales.
      • Be involved in finding execution solutions in line with approved Brand plans; this include all appropriate ATL, BTL and Digital solutions that generate leads and facilitate the selling process while being consistent with the branding strategy.
      • Conduct Robust Measurement and Evaluation of ATL and BTL initiatives and recommend ways to improve effectiveness in future campaigns
      • Constantly go to Trade to evaluate first-hand the success of initiatives and course correct during the execution of the approved Ideas/concepts.
    • Area 3: Commercialization of New Product Development
      • Play a key role in Identifying, assessing and developing the marketing mix elements that will commercialize the innovation and renovation brands in the respective category
      • Area 4: Marketing Resource Management
      • Follow up on LPOs and Invoices in line with A&P management for respective projects within the respective category
      • Ensure proper use of POS merchandise and Visibility deployment for respective projects within the respective category

    Requirements     

    • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
    • Membership to a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
    • A least Two (2) years’ experience in Sales or Marketing or branding in a similar organization.

    Legal Intern

    Specification     

    • Assist the LD with drafting of legal correspondence and legal documentation
    • Assist the LD in carrying out legal research and preparing legal advisories
    • Maintain and keep updated the contracts register, assist with contract reviews and renewals
    • Maintain and keep updated the General Statutory Compliance Schedules and track on a continuous basis legislative/regulatory changes impacting the business
    • Maintain and keep updated the Department’s other registers and logs, and offer support on requested reviews
    • Support in implementation and tracking of resolutions of meetings handled by the department
    • Assist in the organization and support of sensitization/training events (such as on laws and policies) and other meetings that are organized by the department or in which the department is involved through, e.g. preparing the agenda, liaising with participants, compiling materials, making presentations, taking notes.
    • Support with Department projects – digitization, privatization and DPA implementation
    • Prepare and submit reports and presentations as required
    • Attend meetings and takes minutes as required
    • Assist in any other matters as assigned by the LD

    Requirements     

    • Bachelors of Law (LLB) Degree, Upper Second or above
    • Ms Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint

    Marketing Operations Executive

    Specification     

    • Area 1: Marketing Cycle Plan Execution
      • In collaboration with the Marketing Operations Manager, Execute the 18-month rolling marketing cycle plan ensuring that the activities and are rolled out in time and executed in line with desired KPI.
      • On ground trade follow up to ensure A&P activities are implemented and evaluated on time as stipulated in the cycle plan to ensure that marketing objectives are achieved. Ensure all activities are in line with market regulation.
      • Drive productivity through efficiency and effective use of allocated Marketing & Trade budgets through review of expenditure on ground especially on Visibility roll / Wall branding completion certificates
      • Proactively manage outlet selection with the sales team to drive efficient delivery of cycle activities OTIF. Ensure effective communication of cycle activities across all key trade partners – Sales Team, Anchor Bars/KA and Distributors
    • Area 2: Trade Execution Activities
      • In collaboration with the Marketing Operations Manager drive the development of trade Anchor Bar/KA activation programmes and track performance of the programmes.
      • Guide the Area Sales Managers in development of Joint Up Business plans with key focus Anchor outlets (both Off and On Trade) in line with the Trade Development & Channel strategy
      • Be the Key contact for BTL Visibility in General Trade and provide executional support to GT Anchor Bars (both Off and On Con) channels which require lots of outlet engagement prior to execution
      • Working with the Brand team and MOM to oversee the execution of brilliant BTL (Below the Line) marketing Mix deployment which includes timely roll out of POS Visibility deployment, Channel Retail Media solutions, Consumer Engagement platforms, National consumer promotions, etc.
      • Assists the marketing and sales team in by giving good insights to support the evaluation of consumer and trade activations and merchandising plans.
      • Provide appropriate support to the Sales team (NSM/ Trade Development Manager/ Territory sales Managers) to develop trade activities that are aligned to the delivery of business objectives.
      • Develop with the brand team innovative ways of activating consumer touch points and trade point of sale touch point

     Requirements   

    • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
    • Membership to a relevant professional body will be an added advantage
    • A least five (2) years’ experience in sales or marketing operations in an FMCG or similar organization.
