    Commercial Manager

    Our client, a market leader in the Floriculture/Horticulture sector, is looking for a hands-on and independent Commercial & Technical Manager. The successful candidates will be responsible for the sales in the Company and need to be customer-focused, extroverted, have a commercial talent and be able to speak easily with customers from different cultures and backgrounds. He/she needs to be a dedicated team leader and team player with excellent structural capabilities and adherence to procedures including maintaining administration and various digital reports. Having prior experience with Data Analytics and BI tools is required as well.  International experience is an added advantage.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and improve gross revenue.
    • Understand and improve gross margin.
    • Monthly reporting on the progress of sales and opportunities.
    • Managing the technical team.
    • Manage the assistant’s team responsible for a service concept.
    • Maintain and improve existing processes.
    • Manage debt control.
    • Handle customer complaints.
    • Project management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
    • More than 5 years of proven hands-on experience in a similar role.
    • Extensive knowledge in the Horticulture and/or Floriculture sector.
    • Commercial experience in the grower industry.
    • Ability to operate independently, accurately and experience in writing reports.
    • Excellent leadership skills.
    • Willing to travel.

    Sales Director (HVAC)

    Our client is seeking to recruit a Sales Director – HVAC who will be responsible for business development activities related to sales and marketing via researching and developing marketing opportunities and implementation of sales and marketing plans and strategies. The successful candidate be responsible for managing the sales team and take full responsibility on meeting sales targets. He/she must have 5 years’ experience in sales HVAC managing a team and setting targets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential client.
    • Making effective sales representations to prospective clients.
    • Preparation of weekly and monthly status reports and action plans.
    • Successful promotion of the company’s interests, increase market share and grow product sales.
    • Ensuring that targets are met within the budgeting profits margins.
    • Developing and implementing strategies on increasing revenue.
    • Protection, growth and development of the already existent client base.
    • Liaison and negotiations with product manufacturers and thereafter making orders and requisition.
    • Ensuring that inquiries and proposals materialize.
    • Ensure clients’ inquiries and requests are responded to appropriately and in a timely manner.
    • Monitoring and evaluating competitor activity, provision of market information and intelligence.
    • Conduct market surveys, identification, and pursuance of market opportunities locally to improve access.
    • Organization of interactive programs to disseminate market information.
    • Management and submission of tenders, RFIs RFPs and EOIs.
    • Making accurate and rapid cost calculations and providing clients with quotations.
    • Maintain credible and easy to use archival and retrieval systems.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering.
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in sales HVAC.
    • Must have experience in Team Management.
    • Must have excellent communication skills.
    • Must have strong interpersonal, leadership and management skills.
    • Be Analytical and pay attention to detail.
