    Quality Assurance Technician

    Job Description    

    Maintenance of the quality assurance system, quality coaching and improvement and ensuring CCBA standards are met.

    The role involves supervision to the Quality Controllers QAQC’s incoming inspection QC, lab and sensory, QCs, Microbiologist and engagement with machine operators, shop-floor personnel and also across the manufacturing supply chain team leaders production, engineering technicians and contractors.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    1. Understand and implement business strategic priorities
      1. Align quality goals and objectives with business strategic priorities.
      2. Engage with internal customers to develop partnerships and capability.
    2. Ensure that product and package quality meets legal internal and TCCC requirements
      1. Ensure quality governance, good manufacturing practice and good laboratory practice standards are maintained to ensure EBL product meets set specification.
      2. Review and interpretation of SPC and infinity data and ensuring that this knowledge is extended to the production lines.
    3. Manage the quality and the laboratory environment
      1. Leads the CCBA QAQC, QC function.
      2. Supervise and coordinate the water and wastewater treatment quality control and verification activities.

      2. Review quality issue trends and ensure that the appropriate problem solving process is followed where basic RCA processes do not address the issues.
    5. Manage safety , health and environmental standards
      1. Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental policies and procedures as applicable within waste water, water treatment plants, QC labs.
      2. Contribute to the management of sustainable development issues to achieve key sustainable development targets.
    6. Human resource management
      1. Ensure individual KPI’s are aligned to KPI’S of Country Management Team.
      2. People development.
    7. Reporting
      1. Quality leading indicator, daily to SCW L2, weekly in SHEQ L2 .
      2. Good manufacturing practice GMP – daily in L2, weekly GMP score and monthly reporting and tracking.
    8. Any other duties as may be delegated from time to time.

    Qualifications

    Minimum requirement: Diploma in Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, Bio - Chemistry or Applied Biology or any related field.

    Experience

    Minimum 3 years experience as a Laboratory, Production preferably in a food production environment.

    The primary role of the Process Artisan is operation of the process area according to work instructions, the execution of non destructive quality checks and carrying out of routine maintenance.     1. Operational Support

      4. Coach the shift based teams on machine operation, machine fault finding and correct responses to machine failure modes.
    2. Planned Maintenance
      1. Carry out work during the planned maintenance window in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule issued by the planner.
      2. Where scheduled work cannot be completed, feed back to the maintenance planner for direction. This may involve rescheduling the work or prioritising outstanding work.
      3. Assist fellow team members in the execution of their tasks during planned maintenance windows.
    3. Routine Maintenance
      1. Partake in cleaning, lubrication and inspection in accordance with the maintenance schedule issued by the maintenance planner.

      1. Carry out running repairs on plant and equipment.

    6. Housekeeping and Safety
      1. Work in a safe manner at all times, and to identify and highlight unsafe work practices so that these may be corrected.

    Control and Automation Specialist

    Job Description    

    The primary role of the Control and automation specialist is to maintain the plant and associated devices to original installed state. In doing so it must ensure that plant availability and product quality is maintained at minimum cost; without sacrificing standards.
