    Job Summary:

    SAP Basis Administrator provides technical support and leadership for SAP systems, which will include implementing standards and requirements, overseeing upgrades, establishing processes for monitoring performance, and system configuration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Manage SAP HANA system environments for optimum performance and be proactive in identifying potential problems (environments include Sandbox, Development, QA and Production)
    2. Perform core SAP BASIS functions (e.g. OSS Note corrections, support packs, kernels, transports)
    3. Recommend and manage SAP HANA System upgrades, client copies and system refreshes.
    4. Ensure Business Systems have the appropriate technical architecture for scalability.
    5. Perform systems Capacity Planning (Sizing), High-Availability & Disaster Recovery setup, Backup & Recovery Strategy, Storage systems.
    6. Support the team in responding to auditor requests/questions and providing necessary IT substantiation of system controls.
    7. Provide user level application support by responding to problems, debugging systems and troubleshooting to correct the problems as needed.
    8. Provide customer service (level 2/3 help desk) for SAP issues both via phone and in person.
    9. Coordinate communicate and support SAP downtime requests for server maintenance and system implementations.
    10. Work closely and collaboratively to support ABAP/FIORI developers and functional consultants.
    11. Ensure conformity to ISO (9001/2015 and 27001/2013) and data security requirements.

    Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor  in Computer Science , Computer Applications , Information Technology , Engineering  or any relevant discipline

    Professional Qualifications

    • Must be SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration
    • Must be SAP Certified Technology Associate - Sap Hana
    • Certification in any Linux operating systems

    Relevant Work Experience Required

    • 3-7 Years’ active Basis experience in a Technical Architecture (BASIS and Security) role supporting SAP ERP Systems using Solution Manager.
    • 3-5 years supporting SAP HANA, Sybase and Fiori systems

    Technical Skills Required:

    • Deep understanding of SAP HANA technical infrastructure and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems
    • Must have performed the role of a BASIS lead person in at least two(2) medium size SAP ERP implementation projects
    • Strong cross function knowledge in the following areas: HCM, MM, PM, FI/CO, SRM
    • Excellent understanding of the SAP development environments, ABAP/4, Web IDE, SAP Mobile, SAP Fiori
    • Knowledge of the HANA  and Sybase database environments
    • Strong Windows and Unix/Linux knowledge

    Job Summary:

    The role will include ABAP programming, design, testing and debugging of new or existing programs, maintenance, enhancement and support of the business application modules for the internal business functions, which are based on the requirements, and needs of the users.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Design, develop, modify, debug and evaluate objects in RICEFW and NetWeaver Components: FPM, POWL, BOPF, SAP Gateway, SAP UI5 for functional areas, including but not limited to MM, SRM, FI/CO, HCM and PM.
    2. Develop and maintain application programs providing business functions, such as online screens, batch reports and creation of application interface files.

    Job Purpose

    The Chief Manager supports the Deputy Commissioner Supply Chain Management (DC-SCM) in the development and review of procurement strategies and plans in line with the requirements of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015.

    Responsible for Category Management the job holder must be able to coordinate with other departments as well as liaise with Government Agencies to ensure that is so as to procurement best practice is fully represented and best value achieved at all levels.

    Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or any other similar qualification and technical/professional qualification in procurement and supplies.
    • Master’s Degree is an added advantage

    Mandatory Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies

    • Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies – Professional level or equivalent
    • Kenya Institute of Supplies and Management (including Licensing)

    Previous relevant work experience required.
