    Internal Auditor

    Job Purpose:

    The job holder is responsible for providing independent assurance to the Board on the adequacy of the bank’s risk management and controls. The role holder will carry out planning and execution of the audits to evaluate the bank’s internal controls.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in the risk-based audit planning process that identifies processes that should be prioritized for review.
    • Prepare Audit Plans for individual projects and document the relevant planning memos.
    • Plan assigned activities and ensure adherence to the internal audit processes Service Level Agreements to ensure timely completion of engagements.
    • Apply a risk-based approach in the execution of the audit engagements and any assigned ad-hoc investigations.
    • Prepare Comprehensive working papers to support the audit work performed and conclusions made.
    • Optimize the use of Audit Management tools such as TeamMate and Data Analytics.
    • Be well informed on regulatory changes and determine how such changes affect the audit approach and the impact of non-compliance.
    • Ensure the audit reports articulate gaps in the risk management processes, internal control deficiencies and regulatory non-compliance.
    • Conduct effective exit meetings i.e. discuss audit findings and their impact professionally and confidently with appropriate levels of the organization.
    • Continuous engagements with stakeholders to ensure agreed corrective actions have been effectively implemented

    Knowledge; Skills and Experience required for this Role

    Job Knowledge and Experience:

    • 7 years overall in banking, out of which at least three (3) years should be in Internal Audit in the Financial Sector.
    • Strong technical understanding of the regulatory environment with respect to statutory and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.
    • Proficiency in use of TeamMate is preferred.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Finance, Business or any business-related field.
    • Relevant Professional Qualification e.g. CPA(K), ACCA.
    • Member of a Relevant Professional Body

    Manager, Corporate Treasury

    Job Purpose

    The overall job purpose is to ensure management of the corporate dealing and sales function within the department, as well as coordinate branch sales activities with a view of ensuring that the corporate dealing budget is delivered.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic planning for marketing FX products
    • Execution of the bank’s FX strategy through branches
    • Coordination of corporate dealer meetings with clients
    • Handling day-to-day treasury related queries from branches and clients
    • Managing and supervising corporate dealers to ensure they are proactive in executing their call reports
    • Deputizing the Head of Treasury and assisting in managing, coaching, and developing a high-performance team to meet set deliverables

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

    • Business graduate from an accredited university
    • Proven experience of at least five years in a senior position in a Forex Department in a reputable bank
    • Professional qualifications in ACCA, CPA, CFA, or ACI dealing certificate
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • MBA in Finance or Strategic Management is an added advantage

    Intern, Human Resources

    Role Purpose

    The HR Intern will support the Human Resources Department in ensuring smooth recruitment coordination, accurate HR documentation, and timely data entry across HR systems. The role is designed to provide operational support across recruitment administration, onboarding coordination, staff file management, and HR data quality processes.

    The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and interested in building a career within Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment Coordination

    • Support recruitment administration and filing processes
    • Interview scheduling and coordination between candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels
    • Prepare and share interview confirmations, calendar invites and relevant interview documentation
    • Support candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
    • Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure recruitment data is updated accurately and on time
    • Facilitate job posting across internal and external platforms
    • Coordinate candidate documentation during recruitment and onboarding stages
    • Support with onboarding coordination and new hire documentation
    • Support recruitment administration and filing processes

    HR Data Integrity & Documentation

    • Support digitization and clean-up of HR records where required

    • Ensure staff records are complete, accurate, and properly filed in line with the existing standards
    • Data entry and updates within HR systems and databases
    • Conduct basic data quality checks to identify missing or inconsistent employee information

    Reporting & Administrative Support

    • Support preparation of basic HR and recruitment reports
    • Assist in tracking recruitment metrics and onboarding progress
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR colleagues and other Bank employees as required
    • Engagement with Background check vendors

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
    • CHRP or a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management
    • Previous experience in Human Resources Management, preferably in Talent Acquisition and HR Services, will be an added advantage
    • Demonstrated interest in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition
