    Head of Sales – Sales Execution

    The Head of Sales – Sales Execution will be responsible for driving sales performance across modern trade and general trade channels. The role will head the Sales Execution Team and report directly to the Managing Director.

    Direct reports will include the internal sales team, covering both internal and external sales functions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and execute the company’s sales strategy to drive sustainable business growth.
    • Build, manage, and motivate high-performing sales teams across general and modern trade.
    • Strengthen and expand distribution networks, with a strong focus on wholesale channels across Kenya.
    • Effectively leverage the resources and capabilities of the distributor to maximize market penetration and sales performance.
    • Drive excellence in sales execution, route-to-market efficiency, and customer engagement.
    • Collaborate closely with the Strategy and Sales Planning Team to ensure alignment between planning and execution.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform execution strategies.

    Candidate Profile

    • A proven track record in sales leadership within FMCG, preferably in the hygiene products sector.
    • Extensive experience developing and implementing sales strategies and driving execution excellence.
    • Demonstrated success in building and managing distribution channel networks, particularly wholesale channels in Kenya.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development capabilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
    • Experience working with or within global FMCG organizations will be a strong advantage.
