    Marketing Manager

    Job Purpose:

    Overseeing membership growth, assets and liabilities growth and products uptake of the society.

     Job Description:

    1. Develop and implement the marketing strategy for the Society in line with SACCO objectives.
    2. Understanding member needs, business objectives and developing quality products.
    3. Ensuring high level customer service and customer satisfaction.
    4. Prepare and coordinate implementation of media and public relations plan to create awareness.
    5. Lead in membership recruitment and retention.
    6. Custody, updating and safekeeping of member records.
    7. Undertake sales promotion, establishment of market networks for product/services, technical evaluation of customer needs and complaints.
    8. Ensure brand visibility, enhancement and management.
    9. Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
    10. Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

    Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

     Qualifications:

    1. A Bachelor of commerce degree in marketing, bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Public Relations or its equivalent from a recognized university.
    2. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    3. A member of a professional body (MSK).

     Skills and Desired Qualities:

    1. Negotiation and selling skills.
    2. Good people, interpersonal and networking skills.
    3. Business driver and customer driven.
    4. Proficient in Microsoft office suite.

    Experience:

    1. Minimum 5years relevant experience.
    2. Has satisfactorily served in a comparable position with similar responsibilities.

    Administrative Secretary

    Job Purpose:

    To provide administrative support to the Board of Directors, C.E.O, Senior Managers, Stakeholders and Staff.

    Job Description:

    1. To manage the C.EO’s diary/itinerary and facilitate his work plan.
    2. To schedule and co-ordinate Board meetings.
    3. Prepare confidential and sensitive documents/reports for board/C.E.O for flow of information.
    4. Responsible for safe custody for all confidential files and documents; ensure minimum delay in retrieval when required.
    5. Book and coordinate the C.E.O’s /Board travel itinerary both local and international trips and ensuring that all expenses related to the trips are processed.
    6. Handling mail and correspondences, typing minutes of the BOD and all office correspondence.
    7. Screening calls, e-mails, receiving clients from all levels of seniority and directing them to appropriate sections for actions and feed-back.  
    8. Perform any other duties assigned by the C.E.O.

    Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

     Qualifications:

    1. Higher Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent from a recognized institution.
    2. Minimum Typing ii

    Job Description:

    1. Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying member’s needs/ requirements, defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, and establishing targeted market share.
    2. Improves Sacco product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities, improving product packaging, and co-ordinating new product development.
    3. Promote a positive image of the Organization.
    4. To manage and maintain positive relationships with members and Sacco partners.
    5. To support the overall marketing objectives of the Sacco both internally and externally.
    6. Ensure that members’ queries are acted upon and feedback given promptly.
    7. Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements.
    8. Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions and activities.
    9. Marketing Society’s product and services.
    10. Maintaining and tracking relationships with existing customers.
    11. Attend to customer queries and complaints.
    12. Capture information on shares variation when in the field.
    13. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

    • A diploma in marketing or its equivalent from a recognised institution.
