    Assistant Manager Finance

    Job purpose

    The ideal candidate will ensure the finances of company are managed efficiently and properly, in accordance with highest standards of good practices within the country and complying with all financial and statutory requirements.

    Main Duties

    • Provide of timely and accurate financial information, analysis, and insight across the company, including income, expenditure, balance sheet, cash flow and budget holder information.
    • Ensure proper recording of, and accounting for, income and expenditure in compliance with company accounting policies and other regulations and statutory requirements.
    • Review, development and provision of global financial management information, analysis, processes, and systems
    • Act as a strategic financial adviser to the Leadership and Senior Management Team, providing sound advice, guidance and information on organizational performance, risks and opportunities.
    • Take overall responsibility for preparation of management reporting, annual accounts and audit matters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, reporting and governance structures.
    • Manage the annual closing of accounts, year-end audit process and preparation of the statutory financial statements for the group including managing the relationship with company external auditors.
    • Work in partnership with the Senior Management Team to ensure effective income tracking and cost management, cost recovery and return on investment.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • At least 3-5 years of experience in Big Four firms is a Must
    • Bachelor degree in Finance or related field.
    • Should be a CPA-K
    • Familiar with Kenyan tax acts and international accounting standards, together with financial management and ability to provide proper improving suggestions
    • Ability to manage 3-5 people finance team and be responsible for checking the accuracy of output, such as VAT and PAYE declaration
    • Knowledgeable and experienced on Tax matters in Kenya
    • Ability to speak Chinese is an added advantage

    Quality Assurance

    Job Purpose

    To improve the provision of consistently good quality debt advice, enhancing the experience of clients, by working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the Company’s standards of conduct are met

    Responsibilities

    • Implement and maintain a quality assurance framework spanning the full Collections business which delivers transparency on outcomes.
    • Identify and report on call quality trends, offering performance enhancement suggestions and recommendations to the business.
    • Forward-thinking and planning of risks current and emerging to align needs of the business to outputs.
    • Build, test, and monitor control processes for Collections.
    • Identify streamlining opportunities for the Collections department.
    • Consolidate, maintain and distribute the quality assurance report for the leadership team.
    • Identify call coaching opportunities and trends that will further aid the development of both Team Leader and Collectors and also deliver a first-class customer experience.

    Qualification & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or a related field
    • At least 3 years working in a similar position

    Export Commercial Manager

    Job purpose

    Responsible for developing, growing and maintaining export sales to meet overall business objectives.

    Main Duties

    • Identify, develop and manage company product portfolio in the export region to increase sales targets and business growth;
    • Develop, plan and implement route to market for each market to deliver effective availability and visibility of products to retail point of sale;
    • Monitor and achieve monthly export sales as per set target;
    • Evaluate the competitive and economic environment as well as consumer trends in thevarious export markets in order to determine viability and gaps;
    • Formulate and implement penetration strategies to grow sales in the export market;
    • Identify opportunities for new business prospecting to drive growth within existing and new export markets;
    • Develop, plan and implement promotional and trade activities in exports market in conjunction with marketing staff;
    • Maintain and build good trade relationships with distributors, existing customers and potential customers alike;
    • Manage key distributors in EAC and COMESA and set sustainable and effective distribution network in the region to enhance visibility;
    • Ensure proper and precautionary methods are observed in handling and storing ofgoods at the various distribution points;
    • Gather and provide market intelligence in all the export markets and prepare monthly export sales reports;
    • Observe the company’s environmental health and safety policies and procedures to ensure own health and safety and safety of other persons under your section;
    • Perform any other duty as may be assigned by your supervisor;
    • Maintain all company distributors for all assigned territories and perform regular visits to all sites and provide required training to all staff and forecast all sales volume for various projects and maintain knowledge on all product ranges;

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum 4-6 years’ working experience within Business Development/New Business with a background in sales, management, customer service, finance, administration, or related field . Experience in FMCG Industry and or Footwear / Plastics (African Markets) would be preferable.
    • Educated to degree level in business, economics, finance or related field/MBA preferable.
    • Ability to prepare and present quarterly goals and forecasts for future project
    • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into sales opportunities
