The Save the Children Fund, commonly known as Save the Children, is an international non-governmental organization that promotes children's rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries
Role Purpose:
Transformation Delivery is responsible for the delivery of projects across Save the Children with a focus on providing Project and Change resources with the oversight of a Portfolio Management team.
The SCI Website is a very important digital platform for Save the Children to engage and communicate information with the public to drive campaign support and fundraising. The platform of Save the Children International’s website is currently on an older version of Drupal which is reaching its end of life and so needs to be moved onto a newer version. The functionality and content within the website also needs to be upgraded to it better enables Save the Children’s Global Digital Engagement function to meet its strategic objectives. The redevelopment of the SCI Website will ultimately drive an increased number of people to it, which will lead to increased numbers of donations, greater levels of brand awareness, and improved campaigns support.
To be successful, the Senior Project Manager should be open to rolling up their sleeves to really understand the SCI Website and what the key requirements are of the Global Digital Engagement function to redevelop it.
The role of the Senior Project Manager of the SCI Website Redevelopment project will be to initiate and deliver on our priorities for this initiative, to include ensuring we have a clear strategy and plan to reach our defined outcomes whilst also prioritising delivering the required redevelopment in the timeline that has been defined. The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for defining the start-up approach, which will include setting up the governance, ensuring the required team / reference groups are in place, working with a BA to complete the current and future state analysis, leading vendor selection, identifying and proposing mitigations for project risks and issues, define the costs and benefits and coordinate the required governance to move the project through the stage gate process.
The role holder will be responsible for establishing project management practices utilising SCA’s Project Lifecycle, managing relationships with key stakeholders and driving continuous improvements. This role also requires the holder to work closely with the Global Digital Engagement function within SCI.
Prior experience in delivery of global transformation initiatives is therefore essential for candidates applying for this role, in either the INGO sector or the private sector.

About the role
We are currently looking for a New Business Development Manager – Humanitarian Surge Team to join our team. As the New Business Development Manager, you will support the development of a response funding strategy, in line with the Country Strategic Plan Funding Strategy. You will lead in portfolio and pipeline planning, donor engagement, and operationalisation of the funding strategy, by working closely with the awards management team.
You will bring to the role experience identifying and securing funding from government donors, multilateral agencies, corporate donors and/or foundations; leading assessments of funding landscapes, and developing programme funding strategies to meet strategic goals; coordinating and preparing successful proposals and reports for major humanitarian donors; and leading the development of large-scale proposals, including the development of project budgets greater than $3 million.
To be successful in the role you will be proficient in at least one of the following languages in addition to English: French, Spanish, or Arabic.
About the role
We are currently looking for a Nutrition Adviser – Humanitarian Surge Team to join our team. As the Nutrition Adviser, you will be expected to lead on sectoral assessment, programme design and master budgeting, coordination, and support fundraising, recruitment and procurement. In most circumstances, the post holder will be expected to mentor and/or capacity build existing country programme staff.
You will bring to the role prior experience of working within a senior management role within a complex country programme in an emergency response or fragile state, and managing a Nutrition team at national level; and previous experience of Nutrition project management and programme coordination, implementing Nutrition programmes within donor constraints, on time and within budget.
To be successful in the role you will be proficient in at least one of the following languages in addition to English: French, Spanish, or Arabic.
