    Software Quality Assurance Analyst

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Champion and coordinate business requirements reviews across functional teams and ensures that the business requirements are complete, precise, and testable.
    • Works with project team to define and create overall project test strategy/test plan, plan test schedules or strategies and Identifies test resources, estimates test effort in accordance with project scope or delivery dates and ensures that the test strategy is achieved.
    • Develop, document, and maintain manual and automated functional testcases, non-functional test cases, test scripts and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
    • Works collaboratively with the business units and project teams to execute and validate test cases based upon business requirements and ensures that the test cases are traceable to the requirements.
    • In collaboration with GEA and other critical stakeholders, tune the SQA processes, adopt tools and define re-usable templates in-line with the adoption and maturity of the SQA Framework.
    • Define test process including required test activities and deliverables, conduct Test Readiness Assessment, establish test beds, and ensure that test beds are available for all planned white box and black box testing activities.
    • Engages, champions, and collaborates with technical teams / personnel in non-functional testing including integration, regression, load, performance, security, and usability testing.
    • Prepare, share, and review test results periodically, report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws and develop test acceptance reports for projects and software changes. 
    • Works with business units to perform post deployment sanity and regression tests and post-implementation reviews within defined period to confirm that the deployed solution works as per the business requirements. 
    • Participates in formulation and Implementation of Software process improvement policies and strategies for IT division.

    Auditor, Operations Audit

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conducting risk assessment for the development of annual internal audit plans
    • Provide assurance that operations and processes conform to current KCB group policies and procedures
    • Identify controls and processes weakness, document main control points and provide evidential support for report recommendations
    • Provide assurance that organization‘s objectives and goals will be achieved efficiently and effectively
    • Maintain respectful and effective communications and relationships with key stakeholders
    • Present to the area management the results, recommendations and conclusions of the audit reviews
    • Analyze operational and management processes and system controls effectiveness and efficiency in view to improve them and propose value adding recommendations.

    Cybersecurity Specialist ,Data Security & Privacy

    Key Responsibilities: -

    • Recommend, implement, administer, optimize, and support appropriate tools and solutions offering data loss prevention, and information protection in compliance with the Bank’s policies and standards.
    • Continuously review, enforce, and report on database and data store security controls that cover the major database management systems such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
    • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Intelligence and Security Operations Centre (CiSOC) in the continuous monitoring and defence of the Bank’s data, information and databases from data leakage, intrusions, unauthorized access, unauthorized modification as well as assist to detect, report, and respond to data security violations/incidents.
    • Develop Data and Database Security Technical Guidelines and Minimum Configuration Baseline Standards in line with industry best practices and technologies commensurate with risk and regulatory requirements and implementing the same cost effectively.
    • Implement and enforce technical security controls to achieve data protection objectives set out by the organization and regulatory requirements such as the Kenya Data Protection Act, and CBK Guideline for Cybersecurity
    • Define, create, and deliver compliance reports and relevant metrics in Data Security & Privacy to senior management, including violations, utilizing automation as deemed fit.
    • Provide data security and privacy related support to projects from inception through to successful implementation in a bid to ensure that data security and overall information protection measures are built in from project inception.
    • Conduct continuous data security reviews and data discovery assessments to determine any data security violations as well as efficacy of implemented countermeasures.
    • Provide input into Information Security risk and control self-assessments by leveraging specialized knowledge in data security, databases, privacy, and information protection.
    • Research on and provide technical data security and privacy expertise in the Group Information Security department, conduct data security awareness and user training sessions across the group.

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Cybersecurity / Engineering (Electrical, Electronic) or related field.
    • Cybersecurity certification such as CISA/ CISSP/ Security+/ CEH etc.
    • Oracle Database certifications such as OCP/ Oracle Database Security/ Microsoft Database certifications such as MCDBA will be added advantage.
    • 5 years technology experience with at least 2 years in cybersecurity.
    • Experience in Database Administration/ Data / Database Security is desired.
    • Experience in administering data/information protection and privacy solutions is desired.

    Applications Support Engineer

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Key responsibilities include:

    •  Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems updates for fulfilling business objectives and compliance standards.
    •  Implement and adhere to regular systems maintenance policies and procedures, including change request mechanisms and systems update schedules to ensure optimum uptime and service availability
    •  Conduct research on End user computer management solutions to justify recommendations and to support related purchasing efforts.
    •  Participate in system acquisition process
    •  Propose and create system design models, specifications, diagrams, charts and implementation roadmaps to provide strategic direction to the business
