    Nurse

    • A Nurse  contributes to AHF's mission with a friendly and helpful manner to all patients and people seeking testing or medical assistance. The Nurse is responsible for projecting and integrating the mission and core values of the organization within and outside the Healthcare Center. Works with nursing staff and the front office to accommodate urgent care/walk-in patients.
    • Ensuring all patients medical history is collected, formulates plan and prognosis based on patient's condition, coordinating patient scheduling, performing physical exams during medical visits, evaluates diagnostic test, prescribing necessary medication or other forms of treatment, and Refers patients to physician or specialist for consultation, encourages clients to continue to seek medical treatment from an AHF Healthcare Center and recommend AHF services to others.
    • This position should provide outstanding service that enriches AHF’s reputation. Writes admitting orders as appropriate and gives to patient to take to the emergency room if being admitted. The Nurse  can help ensure the patient is receiving the highest quality of care.
    • The Nurse  can enhance the experience of other members of the Healthcare Center staff by demonstrating flexibility and willingness to provide coverage at other AHF sites upon request. As well as, sharing feedback about services and recommendations for improvement with the  Medical Director.

    HRI (Health Records & Information) Officer

    • The HRIO will ensure timely accurate data entry into EMR/manual registers, data cleaning, basic data analysis, uploading data on the Web PPR and submitting reports to MoH. The HRIO will handle data from the testing points within the dispensary.
    • The HRIO will capture data from the service points i.e., OPD, ANC, MCH, Maternity, TB, PMTCT and CCC, which include client linkage for the seropositive, preparing the weekly PPR report, monthly MOH reports, quarterly benchmark reports and prepare biweekly data review reports to be discussed at the facility level.
    • The MOH reports includes a breakdown of HIV testing done for Children less than 5 years and those above 5 years, segregated TB data to capture those who turn HIV positive and stared on ARVs, those screened and managed for STIs, those screened for Cervical cancer and the follow up for the HIV Exposed Infants i.e. numbers tested at 6 weeks of age, number HIV positive and linked into care, numbers HIV negative, etc.
    • The testing data to be captured will also include the Index testing. The HRIO will be expected to attend the Monthly data review meeting to submit the facility report
