    Assistant Cost Accountant

    About the role:

    We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Cost Accountant to join BURN Manufacturing. S/He will support the overall cost accounting function by actively participating in various tasks related to cost monitoring, analysis, and reporting, contributing to the financial health and efficiency of the organization. Collaborating closely with the Cost Accountant and willingness to assist with delegated duties are essential for the smooth functioning of the department and for achieving common goals.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Work with the cost accountant to analyze key trends in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially those relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, profit margin, delinquency, collections, inventory days, etc.
    • Carry out Budget vs Actual analysis for various profit centres as directed by the cost accountant.
    • Departmental budget tracking – Keep track of spending within the department to keep an updated budget vs actual.
    • Review departmental PRFs before approval to ensure integrity in the document before forwarding them for approval. S/h e checks items such as correct GL dimensions captures, amounts within set departmental budgets etc.
    • Prepare COGS reports, P&L reports, Production reports, forecasts, and other reports as directed by the cost accountant.
    • Assist the cost accountant with any other duties delegated to them.

    Skills and Experience:

    • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting; or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or any other relevant qualification.
    • 2+ years’ experience as a Cost analyst or cost Accountant, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG sector.
    • Strong analytical skills & familiarity with business and financial principles.
    • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized, ability to think creatively, and self-motivated.
    • Experience with the ERP systems (Microsoft Navision) will be an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication and outstanding organizational skills.
    • Experience in data, operational, and financial analysis.

    Sales Training Manager

    About the role

    We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to join BURN Manufacturing. As a Training Manager, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs for our sales teams across all our expansion markets, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their sales roles. Collaborating closely with the commercial departments, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall capabilities of our sales force, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Analyse day-to-day needs for training in the sales team.
    • Create training curricula and estimate the budget required to execute them.
    • Develop material required for training, for example, outline, handouts, etc.
    • Conduct relevant research, and training needs assessment, and update the training material and content periodically.
    • Conduct training sessions for new and current sales personnel with greater emphasis on Train the Trainer programs.
    • Develop new approaches and techniques for making improvements in training programs.
    • Collect feedback from trainers and trainees and identify the issues they had during the process.
    • Generate results and measure the performance of trainees after the session.
    • Identify and coordinate with external trainers whenever required.
    • Execute Training of Trainers programs for the company’s Sales Managers.
    • Maintain and update records of training material.
    • Stay up to date with the latest market trends and demands of a corporate sales environment. Knowledge of the carbon market, the causes of climate change and its global effects, and the passion for discussions about environmental issues will be a definite plus.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with a track record of designing and implementing successful training programs.
    • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the industry's best practices and trends in training and development, with the ability to integrate relevant advancements into our programs.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences.
