Vacancies at County Government of Nyeri

The board is made up of the following representatives;

• Representative of the Business Community-Must be a member of a registered business Association in the County
• Youth representative -Must be a member of an active registered youth group/association in the County.
• Cooperatives Representative-Must be a member of a leading cooperative within Nyeri County.
• Persons living with disability (PLWD)-Must be registered with the National Council of Persons living with disability.

Requirements
The applicant must meet the following requirements; -

• Must be a Kenyan citizen
• Holds a diploma (business related) from a recognized institution in Kenya
• Has operated a business which is micro and small enterprise in the County for a period of three (3) years.
• Satisfies chapter six of the constitution.

The applicant should not have been; -

• Convicted of a criminal offence and imprisoned for a term not exceeding six months
• A member of a governing body of a political party
• Previously removed from public office for contravention of the provisions of the constitution or any other written law.
• Undischarged of bankruptcy
• Charged to have violated the constitution or any other written law
