    Key Accounts Manager

    Job Summary

    The key account manager will be responsible for handling key clients’ accounts. The key accounts manager must build and maintain a strong relationship with the client. They will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed. The key account manager will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients.

    Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company

    • Resolving key client issues and complaints
    • Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
    • Anticipating key account changes and improvements
    • Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
    • Managing merchandizers and distributors team assigned to each client
    • Strategic planning to improve client results
    • Negotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
    • Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client
    • Working with design, sales team, creative, advertising, logistics, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met
    • Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
    • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
    • Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
    • Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
    • Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field; Master's degree preferred
    • Four to five years' previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience

    Regional Retail Manager

    Job Purpose

    The Regional Retail Manager manages the Retail/Tertiary sales operations ensures that company volume sales, distribution/availability objectives are achieved within the region. Key to this role is the management of Tertiary sales team performance in the assigned region, through Retail Team Leaders. The RRM manages and ensures optimal deployment of the tertiary resources to deliver tertiary sales objectives. He/She ensures targeted deployment and management of assets at retail level and focus to deliver the expected ROI from deployed assets. The RRM leads the regional tertiary team and ensures development of capabilities of the regional tertiary team to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team in trade. The RRM leads the regional tertiary team and entrenches a performance driven culture through performance management. The RRM leads in the overall responsibility for the success of retail business initiatives like the Retail Loyalty Scheme.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Directs the retail selling activities within the region, inclusive of resource deployment and retail customer In charge of all retail sales operations in his assigned region at retail level.
    • Meets monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and other retail KPIs in assigned
    • Develops and implements efficient route to market strategies to achieve optimal retail efficiency
    • Manages and drives the tertiary team to deliver weighted and numerical distribution targets at
    • Manages the van sales team to grow numerical distribution in regional supermarkets, superettes, minimarts and PFMs – petrol food
    • Responsible for implementation of the picture of success in retail
    • Monitor, analyze sales and market trends while giving regular and accurate intelligence on competitor
    • Responsible for capability development, coaching and mentorship of the sales regional resources for the company.

    DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • A university degree/diploma in marketing or business
    • Astute financial business management
    • Excellent customer relationship management skills, especially with business owners and
    • PICOS execution acumen, to drive execution standards at retail
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend
    • Minimum of five years of related experience including managing a team. Experience in developing/implementing marketing and sales
    • Proven ability to motivate and lead a sales
    • A go-getter / self-starter, results-oriented Able to take initiative and operate independent of regular supervision.
