    Head of Retail

    Job Ref. No: JAML083

    Role Purpose:

    The role holder is responsible for leading and driving business growth within the retail distribution segment by developing and executing sales strategies that increase the uptake of Unit Trusts, Retail Investment Products, and Wealth Management Solutions through the retail distribution channel including Dedicated Financial Advisors and Independent Financial Advisors. This role focuses on strengthening intermediary networks, optimizing sales performance, and enhancing customer experience across all retail channels. The role also oversees client retention, drives channel productivity, and ensures compliance with CMA, RBA, KRA, AML, Data Protection, and internal policies.

    Academic Background:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
    • Professional qualifications such as CISI, CFA (Level I or above), or ICPAK/CIMA are advantageous.

    Relevant Experience

    • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in financial services, with strong exposure to retail distribution, wealth management, or Unit Trust sales.
    • Proven leadership experience in managing and scaling distribution channels.
    • Demonstrated success in driving retail business growth and channel performance.
    • Strong networks within the retail investment ecosystem.
    • Deep understanding of the Kenyan financial services market, regulatory environment, and industry trends.

    Assistant Manager – Internal Audit

    Role Purpose:

    The role holder is responsible for leading and overseeing the internal audit function within the Jubilee Asset Management Limited. The primary purpose is to provide independent and objective assurance on the organization's governance, risk management, and internal control processes. The role involves evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying risks, and providing valuable insights to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and overall performance.

    Academic Background:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or any other related course
    • CPA-K/ACCA Qualification
    • Audit related certifications e.g. CPA (K), ACCA, CISA, CFA, Risk or equivalent
    • Masters will be an added advantage

    Relevant Experience

    • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in in a similar role.
    • Should have experience in leading audit teams and managing audit projects across diverse areas of anorganization.
    • The role involves interaction with senior management, board members, and other stakeholders; hence, the role holder is expected to have excellent relationship management skills and a proven track record of engaging with key stakeholders.

    Projects QA

    Role Purpose

    The role will focus on offering Quality Assurance to ensure that projects are effectively and efficiently delivered to generate desired deliverables. He/she will assess project activities, documentation(s) and processes, to help enforce project standards, compliance with policies and procedures and enhancing project work in eliminating project failures. This role focuses on supporting the project teams to maintain standards and produce quality deliverables; and most importantly deliver the intended outcomes/benefits.

    Academic Background & Relevant Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Operations or related fields.
    • Project Assurance qualifications, Licenses or certifications which may include ISO 9000, PMP, PMI,Certified Internal Auditor
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard is good to have.
    • Previous experience in Project audit/ Quality Assurance, preferably within financial institutions’ environment
    • Experience interacting with senior leadership/ board committees
    • Prior involvement in project implementation processes is an added advantage.
    • Proven track record of delivering value-adding insights that support business strategy.
    • Problem Solving and root cause analysis skills

    Product Management Intern

    The Product Manager Intern will help drive our Startup Innovation Program and venture-building initiatives. In this role, you will act as the link between startups, external ecosystem partners, and our internal corporate functions (IT, Product, Business, and Innovation teams).     Academic Qualifications and Relevant Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience in tech/startups).
    • Previous internships or leadership roles within tech startups, accelerators, or venture capital firms, complemented by academic or practical experience in project management, is an added advantage.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office tools is desirable.
