Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will include: -
- Carrying out feasibility studies;
- Planning and designing water supply and sewerage infrastructures; and
- Carrying out research activities in various aspects of water, sewerage and hydraulic systems.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
- Be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution:
- Be registered by the- Engineers Registration: Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer: and
- Have acertificate in computer applications from a recognized institution

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Design of electrical/electronic engineering services in government buildings and construction works; and
- Repair and maintenance of electrical/electronic installations in waterworks, offices, workshops, conference complexes and other government facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Work at this level will be carried out under close supervision and guidance of a more senior officer and will be subject to regular checks and verification. Officers at this level will be deployed in the HRM Unit, general registry, supplies, accounts office or general office services. Specific duties will include compiling statistical records; sorting, filing and dispatching letters; maintaining an efficient filing system; processing appointments, promotions, discipline, transfers and other related duties in human resource management; computation of financial or statistical records based on routine or special sources of information; preparing payment vouchers; compiling data and drafting simple letters.

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must be in possession of:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C Plain or its approved equivalent; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.

Duties and responsibilities
- Supporting in administrative duties including (but not limited to) receiving visitors, photocopying and printing documents, updating the muster roll for casuals and record keeping;
- Following —up on resourceful delivery information and practices;
- Supporting administration, procurement and equipment on a daily basis in the area of deployment
- Serving tea and coffee.
- Distributing letters, messages following the guidance of seniors;
- Supporting to keep office equipment in safe places with proper handling;
- Maintaining toilets and bath rooms clean;
- Maintaining general cleanliness of utensils and other official material to ensure its functionalities; and
- Performing other official work as may be assigned by seniors;
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
- Bea Kenyan Citizen;
- Certificate in any general office training and experience in office administration will be an added advantage.

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
- Operating, servicing and maintaining plant;
- Identifying mechanical faults for repairs; and
- Maintaining and ensuring safe custody of working tools.
Requirements for Appointment.
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;
- Have a Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade ‘D’ Plain or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Have passed the suitability test for Plant Operators Grade I];
- Possess a valid driving licence free from current endorsement for class(es) of machine(s) that one may be required to operate;
- Be able to operate at least two (2) plants of ‘difficult rating *C’
- Attended a First — Aid certificate Course lasting not less than (1) week from St. John
- Ambulance or the Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution; and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
