    Finance Manager

    Job Description

    Strategic Financial Management

    • Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
    • Advise the General Manager and Board on key financial decisions and risks.
    • Oversee cash flow planning to meet operational and capital needs.
    • Monitor and evaluate business performance against budget, forecasts, and KPIs.

    Financial Control and Reporting

    • Supervise timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements:Profit and Loss Account, Statement of Financial Position, Cash Flow Statement
    • Ensure compliance with, tax laws, and statutory regulations.
    • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines.
    • Prepare quarterly financial reviews for strategic decision-making.
    • Maintain and continuously improve internal financial controls and policies.
    • Oversee timely completion of external and internal audits.

     Financial Analysis and Forecasting

    • Conduct variance analysis and interpret financial trends to inform business strategy.
    • Create and manage budgets in collaboration with departmental heads.
    • Develop financial models and performance reports to support decision-making.
    • Provide weekly internal audit and financial health updates to management.
    • Maintain and present cash flow forecasts and working capital analysis.

    Expense and Petty Cash Management

    • Supervise management of business running expenses through petty cash utilization.
    • Ensure accountability, documentation, and timely replenishment of petty cash.
    • Regularly audit petty cash usage and reconcile balances.

    Accounts Payable Oversight

    • Supervise processing of purchase invoices, payment runs, salary advances, and statutory returns.
    • Review and approve VAT calculations and payroll processing.
    • Ensure banking, reconciliation of payments, and documentation is accurate and timely.
    • Review and validate the following reports by the 5th of each month:Payables Aging Report, Monthly VAT Report, Financial Statement Package, Financial Analysis Commentary

    Accounts Receivable Oversight

    • Ensure daily bank reconciliation and accuracy of accounts receivable records.
    • Supervise debt follow-up.
    • Oversee issuance and validation of invoices, delivery notes, and system entries.
    • Approve monthly reports including:Bank Reconciliation, Debtors Aging Report (Highlighting risks and bad debts)
    • Provide leadership in credit control and review of dormant customer accounts.
    • Approve reconciliations of daily counter sales and customer payments.

    Fixed Assets and Compliance

    • Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and conduct periodic verification.
    • Ensure tax filings, statutory payments, and other compliance obligations are met on time.
    • Liaise with legal and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
    • CPA (K) / ACCA is mandatory.
    • Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible financial management experience.
    • Strong experience in AP, AR, financial reporting, compliance, and forecasting.
    • Experience managing accounting teams and coordinating audits.
    • Knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and financial reporting standards.
    • Advanced financial modeling, reporting, and analytical skills.
    • Strong understanding of accounting systems and ERP platforms.
    • Excellent leadership, supervisory, and communication skills.
    • High integrity, attention to detail, and strategic financial thinking.
    • Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

    Business Development Executive – B2B Solutions

    Key responsibilities:

    Business Growth & Sales

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both public and private sectors (e.g., government ministries, parastatals, banks, insurers, corporates).
    • Develop and execute sector-specific sales strategies aligned to company goals.
    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and solution demonstrations to clients.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets across all service lines — physical records management, digitization, EDMS and workflow automation,
    • Manage and grow assigned accounts to ensure customer retention and up-selling of new services
    • Provide regular reporting and forecasting through CRM and weekly sales reviews.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers (CIOs, Records Managers, Procurement Heads, MDs, etc.).
    • Conduct regular client reviews to understand evolving needs and ensure service satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with operations and IT teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions and resolve client concerns proactively.

    Market Intelligence & Prospecting

    • Continuously research and track industry trends, government digitization initiatives, and competitor activities.
    • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
    • Identify and participate in tenders, RFPs, and framework agreements in line with the company’s strategy.

    Product & Solution Knowledge

    • Maintain deep understanding of company offerings:
    • Records and information management
    • Document digitization and indexing
    • Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
    • Workflow automation
    • Cloud-based archival and retrieval solutions
    • Work with technical teams to customize solutions to client needs.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or Records Management.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B solution selling — preferably in digitization, document management, ICT, or related services.
    • Strong understanding of digital transformation, data management, and compliance frameworks.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable engaging senior-level stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with public sector tendering processes is an added advantage.
