    Finance Manager – Tilisi, Kenya

    Key Requirements:

    • Financial and Cash Management: managing petty cash, coordinating and preparing payroll, handling bank reconciliations and payments, providing regular cash reports, and following up on receivables.
    • Financial controlling: monitoring expenditure, analysing cost savings and efficiencies, manging inventory and improving internal controls.
    • Reporting: providing monthly management accounts, as well as weekly and ad hoc financial reports on performance and cash forecasting. Managing the annual audit.
    • Accounting and Transaction Processing: data entry in ERP Priority accounting software, monthly end management accounts preparation, maintaining organized financial records, and managing the fixed asset register.
    • Compliance and Administration: ensuring the company’s certificates, statutory returns, and tax filings are up-to-date and providing general administrative support.

    Qualifications:

    • Relevant Bachelor’s degree
    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
    • Accounting qualification (CPA (K)/ACCA Finalist).
    • Highly computer literate, especially in excel.
    • Expertise in ERP and accounting software systems.
    • Previous experience in agriculture and/or retail or distribution is an added advantage.
    • Self-confident, conscientious and organised.
    • Excellent written and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise.
    • Able to act independently and take responsibility.
    • Sound integrity.

    Stock Controller

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage all physical stock at the company stockroom, including finished products, fabrics, and trims.
    • Track and monitor stock levels at all retail locations to ensure optimal inventory availability.
    • Keeping track of office cleaning products and other consumables, communicating when they need to be replenished.
    • Prepare and dispatch stock deliveries to retail outlets and customers, both locally and internationally.
    • Coordinate with logistics partners, including company riders, Wells Fargo for domestic shipments, and DHL for international deliveries.
    • Assist in direct customer interactions at the workshop, providing exceptional service.
    • Represent the company at pop-up events and craft fairs, engaging with customers and managing the stall.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • A relevant bachelor’s degree.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role within retail or manufacturing.
    • Proficiency in inventory management systems and strong analytical skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

    Accountant/Bookkeeper

    Key Responsibilities

    • Record and categorize all purchases in the accounting system, maintaining proper financial documentation.
    • Perform monthly bank, M-PESA, and stock reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial and inventory records.
    • Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering for finished items, fabrics, and trims.
    • Prepare and process transfer orders for stock distribution, ensuring accuracy in system records.
    • Work closely with a third-party accounting firm to ensure accurate monthly financial reporting and management accounts.
    • Oversee the Stock Controller to ensure efficient stock management and report performance to the COO.
    • Handle customer orders, ensuring payments are processed and deliveries are fulfilled.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in retail or inventory management.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
    • Strong understanding of inventory management and stock reconciliation.
    • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
