    Warranty Service Intern

    About The Role

    Burn is seeking to hire a Warranty Service Intern to support the delivery of warranty repair services at the Ruiru Factory.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Assisting walk-in customers and facilitating repairs
    • Reporting repairs and taking photos of failed parts
    • Dispatching repaired stoves from the factory
    • Updating Warranty Return Photos from service stations
    • Assisting with the packaging of warranty parts for local and expansion markets
    • Validating and posting service orders
    • Following up on incomplete repairs
    • Any other duties assigned

The candidate works with the QC team and manufacturing staff to ensure inspection and testing procedures are implemented and maintained. He/she will assist in the development of standards to meet quality requirements.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Support the New Product Development (NPD) & Operations team by collecting test data, drafting reports, and giving quality feedback throughout the test period.
    • Ensure the technical documents required for production meet document control and revision requirements.
    • Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects to mitigate and prevent recurrence and future defects.
    • Identify root causes of problems in the production process; recommend and/or implement corrective measures.
    • Conduct an audit on quality jigs and fixtures, tools, and equipment to ensure they are calibrated and up to date.
    • Ensure that products meet the organization, customers’ quality, and product integrity requirements.
    • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
    • Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    • 1-2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
    • Excellent attention to detail.

    ERP Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer

    About The Role

    Burn is looking for an ERP D365 BS Central Developer who will be tasked with the following:

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Handle Microsoft Dynamics Business Central System Support
    • Assist in Updating and managing the ERP system to ensure it provides the company with proper business solutions and accurate results.
    • Aid in Designing and running monthly/quarterly reports to test that data integrity and accuracy within the system.
    • Track and Document the status of all system changes, tests, and upgrade tasks based on the provided SOP and ERP Documentation template designed already.
    • Configure, develop, and deliver MS Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas
    • Create new and modify existing customizations and integrations as requested by the business
    • Perform data conversions, debug system problems, and craft resolutions
    • Installation and implementation of service packs and hot fixes as needed
    • Technical liaison to a different department for application support.
    • Test functionality developed by the development team against business requirements.
    • Support and drive process change and communication in line with NAV best practice
    • Coordinate and contribute to end-user training including the development of system documentation and training materials
    • Assist with functional specifications of customizations and integrations required for NAV implementations
    • Provide pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support, in new modules launched
    • Take responsibility for the customized unit programming and overall system functionality
    • Work with the ERP Team members to understand the business/application requirements of the assigned task
    • Take responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed timelines
    • Creation of technical documentation for all customizations and integrations
    • Handle JET reports support to users

    Skills and Experience:

    • Deep knowledge of both Functional processes, Administration, and 3-year Development experience in MS business central application programming, database, and system design
    • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration and Maintenance fundamentals a plus
    • Extensive working knowledge of C/SIDE-CAL, C#.NET, AL languages, and programming languages.
    • NAV upgrade experience and NAV Integration with other apps/add-ons experience is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of ERP software and related terminology, functionality, best practices, processes, and business rules. Including areas such as Inventory & Warehouse Management, Costing, Financials, Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing, Sales, CRM, and Fixed Assets. and experience in the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business central or NAV release year 2017 and upwards of not less than 3yrs
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Experience with SQL Server, Office 365, SharePoint, Azure, JET reports, or Power BI is a big plus.
    • Accounting background with a solid grasp of general accounting principles is required.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
    • Experience with integrations to external applications using pertinent Dynamics NAV/BC tools (e.g., web services, XML, and API)
    • Experience in the change management process and coordinating with functional consultants to create functional design documents for code development
    • Ability to deliver project documents that are complete, current, and stored appropriately
    • Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and effectively advise and implement solutions
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interactive team management skills with the Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business

    Call Centre Analyst

    About The Role

    BURN is looking for an exceptional, Call Center Analyst to fill the role. The successful candidate, under the direction of the Aftersales Manager, supports Contact Center operations across all markets with an emphasis on business metrics and performance improvement, workforce management forecasting and staffing to optimize service levels, and CCaaS system implementation and support.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Leverage data from multiple sources and manipulate them using scripting tools like Python, R et al to ensure continuous improvement of service performance
    • Utilizes various call center performance metrics to provide updates on trends and adjustments to provide
    • an accurate annual and monthly forecast
    • Generate and adjust long-term, short-term, and active forecasts to achieve canter goals.
    • Review the previous day’s results and adjust histories for special days and call distributions.
    • Review historical data and use workforce management software, call volume history, and overflow data to determine staffing levels and optimal staffing to handle workload requirements.
    • Optimize scheduled breaks and lunches as resource requirements change, determine the need for
    • overtime, and approve or deny as required.
    • Monitor schedule adherence, update real-time schedules, and report agent statuses.
    • Communicate and report KPIs to management and provide real-time status updates to Supervisors.
    • Provide average speed of answer and abandon rate explanations for any day where KPIs are missed.
    • Track and report absenteeism, schedule deviation, and forecast adjustments percentages as they relate to scheduling overhead.
    • Working closely with call canter managers across all markets to consolidate data and centralize KPI
    • reporting, presentation, and feedback meetings for continuous improvement purposes
    • Provide workforce and performance reports to the call center management.
    • Create any ad hoc reporting as needed to present to the call center management.
    • Communicate and track workforce management issues to management, as required.
    • Creation and maintenance of reports as required for performance and financial reporting.
    • Leverages historical data from previous initiatives and pilots to develop educated assumptions for planned initiatives
    • Any other special departmental assignments and/or projects as assigned.

    Skills And Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • At least 3 years of experience in a BI or data science environment
    • Tableau /Power BI/experience is highly preferred
    • Proficiency in Ms. Excel and at least one programming language for data science e.g., R, Python, etc.
    • Design user-friendly dashboards, scorecards, excel graphs, etc.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to effectively communicate solutions
    • Desire and ability to learn and work with Contact Centre leaders to resolve issues
