    Business Intelligence Officer

    Roles for the Business Intelligence Officer Job

    • Monitor marketing activities: Work with the marketing manager in monitoring above-the-line and below-the-line marketing activities. These are advertising, instore promotions, merchandising etc.
    • Manage product tracking and consumer engagement database, including troubleshooting issues and building new functionality
    • Analyse data and prepare reports from marketing activities, sales registrations, and SMS and phone based surveys
    • Monitor sales data and advising sales & marketing team weekly on trends
    • Understand the Kenyan media landscape (market share, demographics, etc.) and communicate trends and current events to management.
    • Monitor, analyse and optimise ROI of marketing campaigns.
    • Help create and tracking sales & marketing KPIs systematically and in a variety of ways
    • Communicate sales & marketing data to staff
    • Quickly and flexibly create solutions for obtaining, sharing, and displaying data
    • Help implement and monitor CRM software for use by sales staff
    • Aid in monetisation and finding novel uses for Burn data
    • Other roles as advised by the sales and marketing leads

    Business Intelligence Officer Job Requirements

    • Technical background preferred
    • Data analysis and reporting
    • Good communication skills
    • Knowledge of sales and marketing fields
    • Coding skills, particularly Python

    Sales Activation Manager

    Sales Activation Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Staff Management: Ensure 20-30 sales activators arrive at work in a timely manner, are well presented, and ready for work. Manage sales activators commissions, work schedule, reporting.
    • Hire/Fire: Hire and fire sales activators as needed. Discipline and reward activators as needed.
    • Training & Coaching: Train activators so they have a thorough understanding of the BURN products he/she sells and are highly motivated for activations.
    • Scheduling: Determine activation schedule and by locations, day, times. Manage activator schedules.
    • Event Planning: Ensure that all required permits, food, cooking equipment, marketing material, etc. are planned for and ready for the sales activation
    • Reporting: Record issues and lessons learned via Word & Excel, and communicate these to VP of Sales & Marketing.
    • Measurement & Analysis: Measure and analyze ROI of activations, sales volumes, and additional metrics for success. Measure and analyze individual activator performance.
    • Professional Development: Attend trainings and meetings in BURN office as requested

    Requirements for the Sales Activation Manager Job

    • College Degree
    • Previous experience managing a staff of 20-30 individuals
    • Previous experience maintain a weekly, monthly, and quarterly event schedule.
    • Previous experience recruiting, hiring, disciplining, and firing staff.
    • High energy, positive, friendly and approachable manner with customers
