    Content Manager

    Brief Description

    Reporting to the HOD-E-Commerce, the position holder will own & implement the content strategy for our e-commerce website. The Content Manager is responsible for end to end of the products & categories on the Safaricom e-commerce website & consistently ensures movement of products.

    E-Commerce Content Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Develop & Ensure all products & categories are kept up to date & displayed in line with the e-commerce brand guidelines
    • Continually update the e-commerce platform with new products & descriptions
    • Ensure achievement 100% product description accuracy & display.
    • Liaise between PR for content marketing materials to create traffic to the site
    • Liaise with marketing/internet marketing on strategies to market to the various consumer segments visiting/purchasing online
    • Ensure consistent movement of products across the platform.

    Requirements for the E-Commerce Content Manager Job

    • Degree in a Business related field
    • Post graduate certification in Marketing will be an added advantage
    • Experience in WordPress or content management system, 3 years hands-on experience on managing e-commerce websites

    Customer Support Executive

    Reporting to the Senior Manager – Segments, the position holder will deliver direct support to Agribusiness clients signing up for the Connected Farmer solution, the Client Support Executive will work closely with the Agribusiness segment, Business partners, Agribusinesses and farmers.

    S/he will be responsible for effective solutions roll out to targeted agribusiness clients in line with KPIs identified as success criteria.

    S/he will be responsible for work planning; mobilization and re-training of solution users and offering follow up support. Additionally, s/he will monitor impact/effectiveness at the individual user level and help them on-board their farmers to the system.

    The Client Support Executive will also be required to provide regular reports on the progress of the program activities. Identification, tracking and delivery of success criteria in line with the Agribusiness’s objectives and CFA expectations.

    Customer Support Executive Job Responsibilities

    Client Solution Roll out Support

    • Act as liaison between CFA and client companies/Agribusinesses ensuring requirements for solution roll out are gathered and in the correct format. This requirement will include but not be limited to Farmer Data sets; users contact details.
    • Participate in the deployment of CFA solution interface focusing on usability and compliance in relation to the
    • Product Definition Document.
    • Coordinate the solution roll-out activities to the client/agribusinesses and escalate any challenges experienced while using the system to the team.
    • Document successes and challenges from Client companies/Agribusiness in rolling-out CFA solution as well as lessons learnt and best practices in pilot roll out.

    Capacity Building Support

    • Support the Business in executing capacity building activities
    • Support business in organizing capacity building forums for Agribusinesses and farmer activation forums
    • Support the Business in monitoring and reporting Capacity building initiatives

    Drive for results – Learning, M&E system operational

    • In collaboration with the Agribusiness identify CFA success criteria and metrics (KPIs)
    • Drive for the achievement of the KPIs in collaboration with the Agribusiness and highlight possible risks
    • Document successes and challenges from Client companies/Agribusiness in achievement of KPIs
    • Maintain an updated electronic and manual reports of the Client Solution Roll out progress using CFA predefined tools

    Client Workshops logistics

    • Support the trainings with the Client companies in liaison with the Business.
    • Compile training reports as required

    Requirements for the Customer Support Executive Job

    • Must have technical / professional qualifications:
    • Degree holder in business related/Information Technology or Agribusiness field.
    • Good understanding of mobile technology applications.
    • Good training delivery and reporting skills
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills

    Key performance indicators:

    • Achievement of 100% solution adoption by Agribusiness
    • Maintenance of product Client suggested improvements logs

    E-Commerce Operations Manager

    Brief Description

    Reporting to the HOD- Ecommerce, the position holder will be This Position owns the operation strategy for e-commerce & provides the end to end operational support to e-commerce for both external & internal parties. Develop & guide operational efficiencies on the e-commerce ecosystem.

    E-Commerce Operations Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Develop monitor & ensure 100% achievement of SLA’s on delivery.
    • Measuring performance of consumer shipments.
    • Monitor returns & establish best practice bench marks
    • Establish tools to Wow the customer with before time delivery.
    • Measure inventory performance against established KPI’s.
    • Ensure all inventory metrics are met.
    • Understand process performance versus target objectives, identify reasons for variance, communicate and implement necessary changes
    • Provide input to the content & acquisition team to assist with sell thru and in-stock percentage
    • Liaise with the delivery partners on processes & technology improvement to continually improve on the customer experience
    • Liaise with internal teams-Cops, Merchant teams, onboarding teams to ensure NPS achievement across the various customer touch points.

    • Coach & manage the operations team

    Driver

    Brief Description

    Reporting to the Senior officer-Project operation, person will provide support to the engineers by offering driving services to the various regions and vehicle maintenance of all the vehicles in the department

    Driver Job Responsibilities

    • Vehicle Maintenance and Cost Management: Vehicle Maintenance
    • Ensure all vehicle repairs are within budget by detecting carelessness and flagging any damages as a result of personal driver recklessness Fuel Intake management Ensuring fuel consumption is within allocated funds and detect any abuse by reconciling mileage record and fuel consumption and report. Also ensure vehicles are being used for the purpose/jobs intended
    • Transferring staff from one point to another on official duties and carrying out Drive Test
    • Ensure compliance of all road & safety traffic rules including monitoring of relevant motor vehicles-departmental and renewal dates.
    • Ensuring that the company vehicles assigned are in good condition, performing the normal routine vehicle check up every morning. Checking service dates etc.
    • Responsible for dropping /picking the departmental vehicles to & from the Garage (Toyota E.A).

    Requirements for the Driver Job

    • Valid driving license
    • O’ Level Education
    • Certificate in basic mechanics
    • At least 5 years working experience as a Senior driver, driving a director in a blue chip company

    This position ensures that the customer experience & Merchant experience through these channels is excellent and is constantly improved to deliver against user and customer needs there by leading to increased traffic.

    E-Commerce Acqusition Job Responsibilities

    • Own all Acquisition campaigns, processes & activation activities to drive brand awareness & increased traffic to the site
    • Own & manage the budget for e-commerce
    • Own and manage day-to-day relationships with external suppliers/agencies who support the delivery of the digital experience for customers
    • Maintaining strong relations and follow ups with key partner’s/merchants incl. terms and conditions, pricing, settlements, negotiations, discounts, quality inspections.
    • Lead e-commerce acquisition marketing activities affiliates, emails, mobile, search engine marketing, onsite promotions, video media formats
    • Work hand in hand with the e-commerce content team and Technology where appropriate to deliver market a seamless leading user experience
    • Own day to day relationships & engagements with our commercial teams, communications & social media teams to ensure we have a robust & engaged platform with our customers.
    • Undertake merchant/ customer training as may be appropriate
    • Ensure all merchants are selected & on boarded in line with laid down guidelines.
    • Work with cross functional teams-CBU(Segments), Merchants department, Technology to ensure flawless onboarding for consumers/Merchants
