    Finance Director

    The Finance Director drives and supports the achievement of KONE’s business objectives and contributes to the ongoing development of unit/area/global business performance by developing and implementing finance policies, programs, and systems (i.e. Controlling and Measurement, Investor Relations, Treasury, Tax and Shared Services). They help to control KONE’s financial assets and provide complete and accurate financial information and records at a unit/area/global level

    Responsibilities And Key Activities

    • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the management team level to develop and implement finance and controlling systems and processes that align with the organisation's overall vision and its current and future business objectives.
    • Lead the Global Function/Area/Unit finance function so that financial and controlling transactions, policies, systems, and procedures meet the organisation's short and long-term business objectives and comply with regulations, KONE accounting principles and standards and KONE Financial Control Models (FCM).
    • Support the business forecasting process by implementing the FCM forecasting checklists.
    • Develop and implement annual Area/Unit budgets in line with global budgeting guidelines.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting policies, systems and procedures in achieving strategic objectives.
    • Review the organisation's financial reports (balance sheet, PL and cashflow) and business performance reports to ensure they are accurate and present the findings and recommendations to other Senior Management.
    • Support the internal audit program activities within the Unit.
    • Coordinate, develop and manage cash flow and credit/collections activities.
    • Liaise with senior management to develop and implement finance strategies that are appropriate for the business needs and consistent with KONE’s overall finance strategy.
    • Direct all employees in Finance to ensure that the financial strategy is implemented effectively, consistently and according to established guidelines and budgets.
    • Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of managers and professionals to achieve established goals.
    • Maintain strong connections with other Finance colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.

    Skills, Education And Experience

    • At least 5 years as a Controller
    • SAP and Beacon, or similar application, working knowledge
    • Professional qualifications as appropriate
    • Preferably Master’s degree in Finance or relevant field.
    • At least 7 years of professional experience
    • Good English skills

    Business Controller

    Business Controller to manages the day-to-day business controlling activities of the Unit. They ensure KONE business activities are conducted in accordance with the KONE Financial Control Models (FCM), and that financial impacts are measured and reported following the KONE accounting standards and reporting instructions. The Business Controller supports the definition of local financial policies and ensures that the adherence to both local and global policies is controlled

    Responsibilities And Key Activities

    • Perform or organize the execution of the business controlling tasks as defined in KONE FCM
    • Analyze the organization’s business activities and advise management on financial matters and impacts of the business transactions and decisions.
    • Support functional or operational area managers in forecasting the future results of their business.
    • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and economic indicators so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions on, for example, acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or the sale of assets.
    • Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization’s short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position.
    • Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
    • Assure the correctness of managerial information including Lift in Service portfolio, maintenance contracts profitability, maintenance business KPI
    • Develop and implement annual unit budgets in line with global budgeting guidelines.
    • Maintain strong connections with other Finance colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.
    • May lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of Finance professionals to achieve established goals.

    Skills, Education And Experience
