    Key Accounts Manager

    Job Purpose

    To can work independently and drive key accounts sales through existing relationships.

    Responsibilities for the Key Accounts Manager Job

    • Develop sales plans for every account in modern trade in accordance with company sales targets and distribution strategy.
    • Ensure the achievement of sell-out monthly/quarterly targets.
    • Plan and execute modern trade sales and merchandising activities of respective brand in liaison with other departments.
    • Develop budgets for the merchandising activities and ensure selling tools and merchandise are developed correctly and effectively; check merchandisers field visiting plans and monitor monthly expenses claims.
    • Source and explore new sales accounts and customer opportunities in modern trade channel.
    • Monitor sell-out by customer and by brand as well as market behaviors and competitors’ development to be able to respond timely using suitable reactions.
    • Analyze sales data to recommend, implement and administer methods and procedures to enhance the modern trade sales activities.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts and service level agreements with modern trade customers.
    • Manage customer credit and payments; ensure timely collections and strict credit terms.
    • Establish and maintain the constructive relationship with major customers.

    Requirements for the Key Accounts Manager Job

    • At least 5 years experience in key accounts management with FMCG company
    • Degree preferably in sales and marketing.
    • Should possess existing contacts with the leading key accounts customers in Kenya.
    • Strong in strategic thinking with hands on approach to customer and consumer business analysis.
    • Strong in customer engagement, key accounts sales, merchandising & promotions strategy.
    • Ability to work in a non – structured environment and deliver on targets.
    • Leadership experience especially in motivating and coordinating team activities.
    • A dynamic personality with excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and decision making skills.

    Brand Manager

    Responsibilities for the Brand Manager Job

    • Brand Management, planning & optimization by continually improving the competitive strength of the category or brand(s)
    • Manage resources and investments to achieve sustainable business goals and ensure all brand actives operate within the set budgets
    • Undertaking market insight to understand the customers preference and serve them better by identifying solutions and making recommendations to improve effectiveness

    Field Sales Representatives

    Job purpose

    Field Force representatives will be part of the extended arm of sales team that builds capability and expertise to reach and manage the point of purchase as well as small and medium accounts.

    They will also ensure that the products (mobile phones) are available at the point of purchase and act as the first line of defense for the brand market share at retail and valuable contributor for growth in market share.

    Field Sales Representatives Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible for Head mounted displays (HMD) sales performance within the respective geography / accounts
      Build relationship and provide service to defined accounts / outlets within his / her territory.
    • Work closely with distributor team at Depot level to ensure adequate levels of inventory at Point-of-Sale (POS) and monitor daily sales performance.
    • Review store level sell – through and stock out and agree on actions.
    • Follow up on actions from previous days, Liaise with the team leader to discuss issues and agree on corrective actions.
    • Deploy and ensure effectiveness of HMD programs including incentives / champions to drive availability, visibility, and advocacy and shopper experience.
    • Complement training to store staff
    • Monitor Care issues, provide support to respective retailers and ensure timely responses to the complaints and issues.
    • Lead, supervise, coordinate, administer, and monitor performance of Promoters by following guidance provided by Sales Executive or Sales Operations.
    • Collect information as per the key models stock availability, pricing, competitor activities.
    • Compile and send weekly and monthly sales reports to the team leader.

    Qualifications for the Field Sales Representatives Job

    • Diploma or degree in sales and marketing or any other related field.
    • At least 2 – 3 years of experience in mobile phones retail/mobile phones shops sales.
    • Should possess Mobile Technology Expertise of preferred brands including Samsung, Tecno, Huawei and Infinix.
    • Should have expertise in HMD (head mounted display) Solutions, planning and implementation experience.
    • Experience working as a Brand Ambassador or merchandising will also be an added advantage.
    • Capabilities in consumer sales excellence with strong sales focus including Total Cost of ownership execution is also a key requirement.
    • Should possess good Competitor and mobile phone technology Knowledge.
    • Should be a Customer Sales excellence expert with effective negotiation skills.
