Responsibilities

• Ordering of stocks in the assigned unit.
• Receive, issue and control usage of stock items.
• Keep records of daily patient data and prepare related monthly reports.
• Ensure safe custody of patient documents / patient files.
• General cleaning of the facility and any other duties that may be assigned to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology/Business Management or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite will be an added advantage.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent public relations and communication skills

• Reporting to the respective Head Nurse in Charge, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following amongst others:
• Assessing, planning and implementing agreed individual care plans and evaluating effectiveness of the care given
• Applying the standard and procedures of nursing care and implementing agreed individual care plans to provide quality nursing care.
• Exercising professionalism at all times while treating patients with dignity, privacy and respect.
• Effective communication skills.
• Championing continual improvement and patient centered care.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Diploma (KRN/KRM/KRCHN) from an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSc. in Nursing or Higher Diploma in specialized Nursing will be an added advantage
• 2 years’ minimum post qualification neonatal nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Program Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following amongst others:
• Overall responsible for day to day administration of the facility.
• Monitoring and supervision of the staff to ensure that work is done properly and efficiently.
• Review, authorize and keep accurate records of all requisitions, duty rosters and applications for staff leave
• Monitor and ensure the proper usage of facility supplies.
• Assessing, planning and implementing agreed Kibera facility plans and evaluating the effectiveness of care given to patients
• Applying the standard and procedures of nursing care and implementing agreed individual care plans to provide quality nursing care.
• Exercising and ensuring professionalism at all times at Kibera facility
• Effective reporting and communication skills
• Championing continual improvement and patient centered care.
• Ensuring nursing and clinical protocols are adhered to
• Being an effective advocate for patients

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• KRN (Kenya registered Nurse)/KRM (Kenya Registered Midwife) /KRCHN (Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse) or BsN
• Additional qualifications in higher diploma specialized nursing will be an added advantage.
• 5 years’ minimum post qualification nursing experience.
