    Sub-County Field Coordinators

    Reports to: Technical Advisor, DREAMS

    Job Summary

    The Field Coordinator is the overall in charge of DREAMS Program activities at the sub-county level.

    S/He shall oversee and coordinate all planned activities, including providing technical support to the program implementation sta¬ff; and ensure provision of services to eligible AGYW beneficiaries under the DREAMS program at the sub-county level

    Field Coordinators Job Responsibilities

    • Ensure that program activities are carried out according to the laid down guidelines; coordinate with various stakeholders and SCHMT to ensure smooth implementation of the project work plan and budget.
    • Ensure and take part in screening, and enrolment of the eligible AGYW into the DREAMS program.
    • Provide support supervision to the Mentors and ensure smooth and e cient running the Safe Spaces.
    • Ensure each beneficiary receives all the appropriate DREAMS interventions.
    • Provide adequate linkage and referral of AGYW for DREAMS’ services and services not off¬ered in DREAMS.
    • Liaise with community members and stakeholders on service provision to DREAMS program beneficiaries
    • Prepare and submit quality progress reports on programs’ activities on a monthly basis and as required to the Technical Advisor.

    Qualifications for the Field Coordinators Job

    • Must have at least a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Public Health or health related field.
    • Must have at least 3 years experience of working with adolescents, OVC or vulnerable populations.
    • Experience working with DREAMS Initiative is highly desirable.
    • Must possess the following qualities: attention to detail, excellent teamwork, good communication skills, ability to work with minimum supervision, and high level of professionalism.
    • Must be willing to visit activities in the field at least 80% of the time

    Accounts & Logistics Officers

    Job Summary

    The Accounts / Logistics O¬fficer shall be responsible for accounting, administrative and logistical functions at the sub-county project office.

    Accounts & Logistics Officers Job Responsibilities

    • Coordinating payments for field activities.
    • Collecting returns from the field verifying and reconciling the same to the payment vouchers.
    • Managing petty cash activities of the stat ion.
    • Verify the correctness of district requisitions and casual invoices before submitting them to Head Office for processing.
    • Administer airtime to field officers and clients refreshments.
    • Oversee the fleet management system in their respective districts including ensuring that vehicles and motor cycles are maintained and kept in good working conditions and are c lean.
    • Verify taxi hire, vehicle hire and fuel invoice s before submitting them to the Transport Department for processing.
    • Ensure prudent fuel usage.
    • Facilitate daily transport schedules for the teams.
    • Follow up on supplies from the Central Stores in Kisumu; and ensure all supplies, services, equipment etc are in place whenever required.
    • Assist with general administration including asset management, property maintenance, and general supply chain and functioning within the sub county.

    Qualifications for the Accounts & Logistics Officers Job

    • CPA II (Section 4) certification is a must.
    • Hold at least a Diploma in Business Management, Procurement and Supplies or any other related business field.
    • Ability to work under pressure to pursue and meet deadlines & work with minimum supervision.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications (Ms. Word, Excel etc).
    • Good communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, personal commitment, efficiency and flexibility.

    Key Populations - Technical Advisor

    Job Summary:

    The Technical Advisor is the overall in charge of Key Populations Program within IRDO.

    The position holder shall oversee and coordinate all planned activities, including providing technical support to the project implementation staff.

    The role will support program staff in project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, program quality and effectiveness, effective documentation and reporting among others.

    Location: Based in Siaya County; also oversee activities in HomaBay County

    Technical Advisor Job Responsibilities

    • Provide overall coordination, supervision and support the program implementation staff in the planning, design, and implementation of interventions targeting Key Populations.
    • Monitor the progress of program implementation and ensure that re quire d modifications and corrective actions are undertaken on a timely basis
    • Support staff to develop quality work pla ns, budget s, and report s and ensure that interventions are in line with Programs Unit annual and long term plans
    • Ensure that interventions are designed and implemented to the highest quality possible and within the approved budgets and timelines
    • Ensure all scheduled reports are generated, reviewed and submitted to the Programs Officer on time and are the highest quality possible

    Qualifications for the Technical Advisor Job

    • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized training institution and in possession of a registration certificate issued by Clinical Officers Council.
    • At least 5 years ‘experience in provision of clinical services including ART
    • Experience work in g with Key Populations is highly desirable
    • Experience in program coordination, coordination with county health departments and work in g wit h other relevant stakeholders
    • Must possess the following qualities: attention to detail, excellent teamwork, good communication skills, ability to work with minimum supervision, and high level of professionalism.
    • Must be willing to visit activities in the field at least 80% of the time.

    RTKS Commodities Logistician

    Job Summary

    Overall, responsible for ensuring that RTK s commodities for HIV testing services are accurately and timely quantified, forecasted, and distributed to targeted health facilities to support the delivery of community-HTS.

    Reports to: HTS Technical Advisor

    Commodities Logistician Job Responsibilities

    • Support and work closely with CMLTs, County RTKs / Logistician s, SC MLTs, Laboratory Managers; and the
    • County/National TWGs on RTK s ensure RTK commodities are accurately an d timely quantified, forecasted, and distributed to targeted health facilities.
    • Support the revision and or development and implementation of standard operating procedures to ensure accurate and timely quantification, forecasting, and distribution of RTK s to targeted health facilities.
    • Provide technical assistance, capacity building, and oversight to improve management including reporting of RTK s commodities within health facilities supporting community-HTS.
    • Carry out frequent site visits to supporting health facilities to ensure efficient management, reporting and use of RTKs.
    • Serve as a liaison person between IRDO, MoH, and key stakeholders on all matters RTK s commodities.

    Qualifications for the Commodities Logistician Job

    • Must have at least Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
    • Must be registered with KMLTTB , with a valid practicing license .
    • Must have three years’ experience working on laboratory supply chain management or logistics or related field
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, specifically Ms. Excel.
    • Well versed with MoH Health Commodities Management Platform (HCMP)

    Other competencies:

    • Ability to multi-task;
    • Excellent writing and presentation skills;
    • Excellent communication skill s and teamwork;
    • Can work long hours, including weekends and public holidays when necessary
    • Experience working with laboratory focal persons at county level and sub-county levels.
