    Partners & Channels Manager

    Role Purpose: 

    To sell and manage the distribution of Telkom products and services to Partners and Channels customers within an appointed area.  The role needs to identify and facilitate sales opportunities within current and new Partners and Channels customers to maximize sales within the appointed area. This role is also responsible for:

    •             Consistently achieving sales targets and growth plans for the appointed area

    •             Relationship management with key customers and partners for the appointed area

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Execute sales growth actions plans
    • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners and facilitate the continuous growth of the customer base for the assigned area
    • Determine required solution for the customer with a focus on cross- and up selling of products and services
    • Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the partner and customer’s business for the assigned area
    • Conduct analysis of customer, partners and sales metrics, costs and categories to inform business decisions
    • Continuously ensure alignment with marketing, branding and communications procedures
    • Compile and execute action plans to grow the customer and partner footprint for the assigned area
    • Provide insights in the growth strategies in conjunction with partners and customers and partners to drive business growth for appointed area
    • Facilitate and maintain the development of communication channels on all levels to prevent breakdown in information flow
    • Forecast and monitor sales for the relevant market segments for appointed area
    • Support the finance team in money collection and issue resolution
    • Support sales administration team with required information for sales order management

    Academic/ Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in B.Com Sales & Marketing, Business Management or related field from a recognized institution 
    • 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role

    Business Developer

    Role Purpose: 

    To sell, manage, and develop as well as help in penetration of Telkom product and services to SME customers within the appointed area.  The role ensures identification, facilitation and execution of sales opportunities within current and new SME clients in order to maximise sales and growth of revenue for Telkom within the appointed area. Will also be responsible for consistently achieving sales targets and growth plans for the region, including relationship management for all clients in the assigned region.

    Regional Business Manager- Coast

    Role Purpose: 

    To implement and drive the sales strategy and action plans for the sales and distribution of Telkom product and services for SME Enterprise customers within a specified region.  Furthermore, must facilitate and enable the meeting of sales targets and revenue margins across the customer network within the region. Will also be responsible for consistently achieving sales targets and growth plans for the region, relationship management with key SME customers and leading the sales team through effective people management practices.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Effectively manage the budget of the sales team within the region and ensure sales are done cost effectively
    • Monitor and measure the profitability levels of customers within the region
    • Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the partner and customer’s business within the region
    • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and facilitate the continuous growth of the customer base within the region
    • Forecast and achieve sales for the relevant market segments within the region
    • Address and resolve escalated issues from sales team and customers
    • Ensure the effective management of the customer account and timeous problem solving
    • Ensure the delivery of expected sales delivery and performance of the sales team within the region
    • Conduct analysis of customer, partners and sales metrics, costs and categories to inform business decisions
    • Compile action plans to grow specific product and service categories within the region
    • Communicate changes in processes, product or service changes, promotions and any other developments of the company to the sales team within the region

    Academic/ Professional Qualifications

    • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in sales & Marketing or Business Administration or IT with strong bias in sales. Master’s degree is desirable but not a requirement.
    • 3 - 5 years in Sales & Marketing Management or Business administration and management

    Service Delivery & Project Specialist

    Role Purpose: 

    To ensure that the solutions are optimised for cost and profit.  Also responsible for managing the efficient and effective delivery and end to end implementation of secure orders in accordance with the set project management standards and process so as to ensure timely and accurate first-time delivery on all customer orders.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Execute the projects within the agreed customer contractual agreement. 
    • Plan and execute the management of required technical submarine stock within the financial budget limits
    • Provide feedback concerning financial variances on project budgets and project inventory
    • Provide regular project progress to the customer and sales
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by implementation of project within SLA
    • Resolve customer and internal project and service issues through engagement with required stakeholders
    • Coordinate and monitor projects tasks up to billing and ensure proper hand over to post-sales management
    • Provide inputs into service improvement and implementation plans
    • Coordinate the feasibility review of sales proposals between stakeholders
    • Coordinate the stakeholders’ involvement across the project lifecycle 
    • Plan and execute maintenance and capacity growth projects for the submarine cables network
    • Monitor the availability of required stock and provide projections of stock levels

    Academic/ Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Processing or Business Management from a recognized institution 
    • Experience: 3 -5 years – Project Management, Telecoms solution implementation, Telecommunications Networks
