    Senior Supply Chain Manager

    The Role In Brief

    Our Supply Chain team brings materials from around the world to our factory, where they’re crafted into furniture that make thousands of families happy.   Moko’s Senior Supply Chain Manager will grow our supply chain apace with the company’s product development and manufacturing plans.  You’ll manage and grow a strategic global supplier network and ensure systems and processes are in place to meet growing procurement needs.

    Responsibilities

    Lead Supply Chain Growth and Development

    • Ensure supply chain systems, processes and team capacity are apace with company growth
    • Proactively grow the company’s supplier network for key materials to mitigate risk and keep pace with growing demand; identify and attend relevant trade fairs and conduct overseas factory visits
    • Keep up-to-date with global market changes relevant to our key product lines
    • Develop sourcing plans to accommodate increasingly complex sales and manufacturing needs

    Ensure Continuous Cost Optimization

    • Regularly identify and evaluate opportunities for reducing costs while maintaining high level of quality
    • Identify and evaluate new suppliers for existing products in search of enhanced value for money

    Oversee the day-to-day Supply Chain Management

    • Manage a small team responsible for global and local procurement, sourcing and import functions
    • Ensure appropriate targets are in place and are being consistently met by the supply chain team

    Our Head of Ops & Supply Chain is responsible for scaling our supply chain and distribution to reach millions of customers.  We’re looking for a self-driven and analytical leader with the ability to direct and grow our operations team and systems toward this goal.   You’ll be excited to solve big problems like developing a hub-and-spoke distribution model for quick, cost-effective delivery to our customer’s homes.  You’ll be obsessed with order and efficiency, putting in place the systems needed to organize the work of your team as it expands.

    Responsibilities

    Lead and grow a world-class distribution operation

    • Turn a distribution operation that reaches hundreds of thousands of customers into one that reaches millions
    • Develop and implement a hub-and-spoke distribution model which delivers the quality and reliability of our retail customers’ dreams
    • Grow and streamline our existing nationwide delivery service which serves hundreds of small businesses
    • Oversee an increasingly sophisticated warehousing system and ensure seamless operations as our SKUs grow

    Expand our international supply chain

    • Master a sourcing operation that spans dozens of suppliers in 14 countries
    • Continuously scour the globe for higher quality and more affordable materials, enabling us to build the products of our customers’ dreams
    • Coordinate our sourcing teams in Kenya and Mauritius in ensuring an efficient flow of goods to where they are needed
    • Select the best vendors from across the world and guarantee quality of the goods they supply

    Finance and Administration Manager

    The Role In Brief

    Moko’s Finance and Administration Manager supports all of our teams as we work to put a smile on the faces of millions of customers.  This role is about leading our accounting, managing processes for serving our customers and employees, collecting and sharing data needed for key decision-making and helping us make the best use of our resources.  Our perfect match is just as excited about crunching numbers and improving financial controls as coaching a junior accountant through a new reconciliation or working with our production coordinator to manage overtime more effectively.

    Responsibilities

    Lead key accounting and finance functions

    • Serve as the company’s chief accountant, managing accounting officers and taking overall responsibility for accuracy of all financial reporting and tax compliance
    • Manage short-term cash flows, balancing inflows and outflows and making decisions around short-term investment and forex management
    • Ensure adequate controls are in place to support judicious use of company resources
    • Coordinate financial accountability and control across the organization – lead budgeting, ensure expenses are accurately tracked to cost centres, realize opportunities for reducing risk and cost
    • Prepare monthly management accounts, payroll and statutory filings

     Drive planning, reporting, compliance and administration

    • Work with the company’s directors to support company-wide financial analysis and planning
    • Support development and reporting against key metrics across teams; prepare key investor reports
    • Take ownership of key administrative functions including management of insurance, compliance and elements of HR – ensure strong processes and appropriate resources are in place
