JUMO is a platform that provides transaction and predictive technology for Mobile Network Operators and Banks.
Key Responsibilities
• First line of support for operational issues
• Monitoring of computational, storage and network storage devices inside Jumo’s AWS production environment. Respond to alarms by either resolving the issue or escalating within Jumo
• Management of internal-to-Jumo communications during system incidents.
• Monitoring of remote resources (e.g. MNO owned VPN endpoints) for failure. Escalate to MNO via MNO technical resources. Communicate internally to Jumo
• Coordination and communication of release or other operationally impacting activities
• Operation of systems (for example, pausing queues during partner maintenance)
• To the extent possible, execution of current daily on-call tasks
• In conjunction with software engineering teams develop and maintain runbooks for operational systems
• Uptime reporting for internal and third party systems
• In conjunction with DevOps team, addition of alarms and monitoring
• Management of capacity and expenses resulting from capacity consumption
Skills and Competencies
• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline
