Requirements for the Marketing Manager Job

• To have a BSc degree in a science subject such as Biology, Biochemistry, and Pharmacology etc. Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a medical rep, out of which 5-6 years should have been in a supervisory position in a reputed company.
• Should be familiar, with most of the senior consultants in various hospitals and buildings.
• Should be able to follow up with the Medical reps (junior to him) in their respective areas viz a viz whether they are seeing the respective doctors and detailing and following up on the products in the correct manner and also following up and engaging the chemists in the right way.
• The prospective candidate should also be in a position to train the medical reps on new products, hence should have excellent technical knowledge.

• Pharmaceutical experience is a must.
