Responsibilities for the Clinical Health Officer Job

• Overall responsibility for the daily clinical assessment and prescription of treatment for all patients attending the Clinic.
• Provide comprehensive and good quality clinical services to patients.
• Diagnose and institute appropriate treatment for the clients to reduce morbidity, mortality and increase longevity of patients’ life.
• Perform minor surgical operations.
• In collaboration with the team receive and attend to patients who require emergency services
• Ensure that patient data/ information is handled confidentially at all times
• Ensure effective clinical procedures, rules, regulations which are consistent with organization procedures.
• Prepare the Monthly reports.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications for the Clinical Health Officer Job

• A Diploma in clinical Medicine from a recognized institution
• At least 2 years’ experience
• Registration with Kenya Clinical Officers Association/ Clinical Council of Kenya
• Flexible
• Good Communication and leadership skills
