Reporting to the General Manager – Manufacturing, Maintenance & Facilities,

Environment, Health & Safety Manager Job Responsibilities

• Supervision of the Environment, Safety & Industrial Hygiene function.
• Maintain procedures and records for the Environment management systems (EMS) and the Health & Safety system.
• Plan, schedule and monitor performance of internal and external audits for the EMS and Safety system.
• Reporting and maintaining records of internal and external surveillance audits.
• Drive compliance with safety procedures and safety requirements through observations, compliance audits, coordination of reviews, safety programs, feedback and follow-ups of corrective action Drive awareness of
• Environment, Health & Safety best practices in the organization.
• Coordinate safety and environment incident reporting and follow up on closure of all corrective Actions.
• Maintain Environment, Health and Safety metrics.

Requirements for the Environment, Health & Safety Manager Job

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other related field.
• At least five years working experience with knowledge and experience in Environment, Health & Safety function.
• Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma in Environment, Health & Safety field will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and assertiveness.
