Be part of a growing team, with exciting career and growth opportunities. We have two vacancies for Analysts to join our dynamic Client Success team based in Nairobi and Cape Town respectively.
Join a group of Analyst resources assigned to support our clients and gain skills and experience cross functionally in both business (requirements and design) and technical (data and software configuration) areas. The role is integral to our client team and directly supports implementation of our Vantage analytics solution from design and business requirements through product configuration, data analytics and flow development, through to release, implementation, and transition to ongoing support.
In the role of Analyst, you will develop skills and maintain responsibilities that can include:
- Discovering underlying business needs and questions that require actionable insight to support data driven decisions
- Conducting research and interviews with stakeholders to understand needs and questions
- Collaborating with clients to translate business needs and questions into user requirements
- Documenting business requirements, mapped to real business need, meet essential quality standards and are approved by all relevant stakeholders
- Translating business requirements into technical requirements, and conduct fit/gap analysis with existing solution capabilities, identifying and prioritizing demand for new features
- Support the exploration and organization of multiple disparate datasets so that the data can be effectively analysed and insights provided to clients
- Configure solution and complete data ingestion activities (defining and developing data pipeline, quality control processes, extraction/import routines, etc)
- Engage with product development to manage the introduction of new features or customized capabilities
- Define and execute testing process to enable effective implementation go-live
- Providing support for clients and assisting with the transition to effective support services during the immediate post launch period.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Science or equivalent
Experience & skills
- 2+ years of experience as a business or technical analyst in a global, matrixed organisation
- Strong baseline skills in mathematics and/or statistical analysis
- Exposure and limited experience in client engagement and stakeholder relationship management
- Exposure to solving complex data problems
- Ability to work across both technical and business analyst portfolios
- Ability to write business requirement documents and present
- Excellent problem solving (error detection, roof cause analysis, error correction), conceptual, analytical and decision-making skills
