Corporate Sales Assistant at Sunvait Network Ltd

Job description

To assist in prospecting, selling, closing, collection of outstanding debt and maintaining account management principles in the assigned market segment with the aim of improving sales and Company market share. To assist develop and implement sales strategies, to improve current systems, identify new customers and markets.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

• Identifying and establishing new business
• Organizing sales visits
• Liaising with existing clients
• Preparing tenders, proposals and quotations
• Providing pre-sales and post-sales support
• Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
• Reviewing cost and sales performance
• Writing reports and sales literature
• Providing product education and advice
• Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
• Ensuring that sales targets are met.
• Weekly attendance of commercial meetings and updates of weekly sales report, payment follow up report and advance two-week work plan.
• Develop and implement sales and account plans and strategies to grow, achieve and exceed market share and sales revenue targets for the business
• Target market – customers by segment, product line, geographic area, sales volumes, industry etc.
• Competition – by name, market share, products, pricing strategy, physical address, level of competitiveness, and comparative strengths and weaknesses
• Market environment – Economic factors such as country growth, industry health, economic trends, taxes, and energy costs; legal factors; governmental factors; and other factors that affect the market but which the company has no control.
• Bring out what needs SNL products meet compared to the competition and what competitive advantage, disadvantage does SNL enjoy or suffer
• Work on set sales targets and sales forecasts and ensure they are achieved
• Gather market intelligence
• Identify, oversee and assess the activities of the competitors
• Participate in workshops, trade shows and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry
• Participate in Departmental teamwork
• Participate in the preparation of tenders, lobbying and submission to clients
• Assist in prioritizing projects to ensure timely and accurate completion of all assignments
• Develop, update and maintain a central document and client database with all contacts.
• Ensure documentation in all sales and marketing activities for record purposes

Relevant Experience and skills

• 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing
