Hotel Sales Manager at Frank Management Consult Ltd

Job Responsibilities

• Aggressively solicit and follow up on leads generated
• Broaden productive client base and increase awareness of hotel
• Establish and maintain active working partnerships with the sales & reservations departments of key Partners
• Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost business for the hotel
• Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals
• Conduct personalized sales campaigns within designated territory to promote the hotels, programs, packages and special promotions
• Coordinate and participate in trade shows, key trade & business associations to generate business leads and increase hotel visibility
• Actively participate in Initiate and implement sales promotional programs with stakeholders
• Maximize exposure through creative promotion both during and pre /post event
• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, the sales team to ensure they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales and Marketing or related field
• 5 years’ experience in sales Hotel Industry – conferences, accommodation, restaurant, catering.
• 3+ years in luxury hotel in Sales in a 4/5 star hotel
• Willingness to work in Uganda
