Are you a highly skilled and detail-oriented accountant looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our Finance and Administration team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, preparing timely financial reports, and managing accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports as may be necessary for review and decision-making.
• Maintain accounting controls by ensuring all finance policies and procedures are followed.
• Assists in preparing for annual audits and ensuring auditors have the required information.
• Cash flow management
• Perform month-end closing processes, including bank reconciliations, provisions, and accruals.
• Generate and send customer invoices and credit notes in a timely manner.
• Record daily bank settlement credits in SAGE and maintain accurate records of customer account balances and payment history.
• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and perform reconciliations to resolve discrepancies
• Initiate collection efforts for delinquent accounts and escalate as necessary to the management team
• Prepare regular accounts receivable reports and analysis.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• CPA(K) certification is required.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and double-entry accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
• Knowledge and experience with iTAX for statutory deduction filings.
