Accounts Receivables at Execafrica Recruitment Limited

Salary: Ksh 50,000-60,000

Our client, in logistics and Distribution Company is looking to hire a competent Accounts receivable. Ideal candidate should have accounts receivables experience of 3 years and above in FMCG industry especially in distribution and Experience in stocks & Bank reconciliations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To reconcile all revenues collected on a daily basis and check balances against receipts
2. Create and store back-up documents for cancellation, dummy credit and journal upload activities.
3. Answer supplier queries on invoices & payments.
4. Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
5. Reconciles Accounts on a monthly basis.
6. Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
7. Verify invoices against contract terms and other agreements.
8. Maintain the vendor/supplier files and monitor the accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
9. Ensure the accuracy of accounts receivable information impacting upon the financial statements.
10. Provide timely and accurate monthly reports (revenue, accruals etc) and debtor analysis.
11. Reconciliation and ensuring that the accounts receivable management and outstanding debt balance analysis is accurate and maintained at acceptable levels.
12. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of customer invoices for goods supplied & services rendered and that any billing queries are attended immediately and feedback given to customers.
13. Always monitor company accounts and its balances, in order to ensure payments and transactions are up to date.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree or above in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
2. CPA Part II or equivalent.
3. KSCE C+ with a C plain and above in math’s.
4. Minimum 3 years related working experience in the ‘Accounts Receivables function.
5. Must have used Navision software.
6. Must be honest and of high integrity.
7. Accurate, efficient and organized within daily responsibilities.
8. Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team.
