    Assistant Manager – Risk Analysis

    Main Purpose of Job

    To facilitate risk assessment and analysis for appropriate interventions of identified risks to revenue; Domestic Taxes and Customs and Border Control Departments.

    Key Performance Areas

    1. Supervise officers performing risk assessment and identification activities on a day to day basis
    2. Planning analysis of “Macro” and operational Business Impact Analysis and to prioritize response within revenue departments Customs and Border Control and Domestic Taxes.
    3. Maintain contact and interaction with databases for functional for operations to identify and monitor risks for Customs & Border Control and Domestic Taxes.
    4. Follow-up any identified remedial actions for purposes of continuous improvement of risk identification and monitoring in Revenue.
    5. Risk identification relating to Business and Trade data to identify risks, threats and exposures for Revenue.
    6. Any other duties assigned by the Manager.

    Minimum Academic Requirement

    1. University degree in a Business Related field, e.g. Economics Accounting / Finance
    2. Diploma in  revenue administration such as Domestic Taxes and Customs & Border Control  is an added advantage
    3. Specialist Training and Membership to Professional Association
    4. Professional membership of a Professional Body.
    5. Membership to Professional Institution on Risk is an added advantage.

    Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

    1. Have at least 3 years’ experience in supervising or leading a team in an organization
    2. Experience in handling risk management in an operational area in an organization.
