Assistant Relationship Manager- Business Banking at Rafiki Microfinance Bank

Job Description

1. Grow the bank’s liabilities, assets and NFI in the SME segment.
2. Effectively manage Portfolio at Risk
3. Grow quality loan book
4. Promote active utilization of the bank’s Credit and Treasury facilities to existing and potential clients.
5. Recommend for product development relevant to the SME sector.
6. Evaluate credit proposals and oversee the credit applications process on a timely basis with the bank’s set turnaround times.
7. Effectively manage and expand the relationships with existing SME clients and bringing in new clients so as to ensure business growth and continuity.
8. Actively ensure customer relationship management
9. Ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements.
10. Safeguard and promote the bank’s image with the general public
11. Cross-sell and upsell other bank products
12. Any other official duty that may be assigned from time to time

Key Competencies, Skills, qualification and Experience

• Business graduate from an accredited University preferably with a major in Sales and Marketing, Finance and/or Economics
• 5-6 years’ experience in business development preferably in a financial institution
• Experience in handling enterprises will be an added advantage
