    Assistant Sales Manager- Kisumu

    • The role ensures achievement of profitable sales volumes, development of a strong route-to-market network, and provision of excellent customer service to drive sustainable business growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee regional sales operations and supervise Trade Developers.
    • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to visit outlets.
    • Build and maintain strong business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
    • Support the brand marketing process by identifying opportunities in listing, activations, merchandising, and consumer engagement.
    • Execute trade marketing strategy across assigned brands in consultation with the Sales and Marketing Managers.
    • Strengthen partnerships with resellers, traders, and retailers to secure trade support and loyalty.
    • Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, promotions, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
    • Report competitive activity, pricing trends, and potential opportunities for management.
    • Prepare and submit daily visit reports, weekly work plans, monthly performance updates, and annual territory analyses.
    • Ensure adherence to company business standards and ethical management of all financial activities.

    Requirements

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
    • At least 3–5 years’ experience in FMCG/Alcoholic beverage sales with supervisory responsibility.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
    • Proven ability to meet targets and grow market share.
    • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of sales reporting.
    • Negotiation, problem-solving, and customer relationship management expertise.
