JOB DESCRIPTION FOR BARMAN

• You are responsible for the service of beverages to the guests in a friendly and courteous manner in all the restaurants or bars. 
• To provide efficient, expedient and courteous service to the guests leading to total guest and company satisfaction. 
• To check all glasses, crockery and other items needed before putting them in use. To be responsibly minded for the breakage and loss of such items. 
• You should be courteous, warm, smiling while dealing with guests. Be efficient, fast and serve with confidence and flair. 
• Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation and service procedure. 
• To make sure that all beverages are according to menu and list specifications, properly presented and be of correct temperatures before being served. 
•  Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
• Make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range.
• To prepare drink orders given by customers at the bar or by waiters and waitresses who take costumers’ orders. No order should come out of the bar without a KOT.
• To make sure customers meet the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcohol beverages and tobacco, please check identification. 
• Your responsibilities include: preparing mixed drinks, serving bottled beer, and pouring wine or other beverages. 
• You are expected to know several different drink recipes as well as quickly mixing drinks accurately and efficiently.
•  You should also stock and prepare drink garnishes; keep a supply of ice, glasses, and other bar materials; maintain the cleanliness of the bar and bar utensils; serve as a cashier, and serve food to those seated at the bar.
• Most importantly, you are in charge of inventory for the bar, maintaining enough liquor, mixes, and other bar supplies.
• Switch on the music as well as the TVs, Clean the bar counters, inside the bar, the fridges and the shelves. Ensure the seats in the bar area and terrace are clean and well arranged.
