    Business Development Executive - Logistics

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive to drive sales growth and expand client relationships within the logistics sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, managing client accounts, and promoting logistics solutions to corporate clients. Candidates with experience from logistics companies are highly preferred.

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain market.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
    • Promote logistics, courier, freight forwarding, transportation, and warehousing solutions.
    • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and sales negotiations.
    • Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
    • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
    • Maintain an updated sales pipeline and CRM records.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
    • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer feedback.
    • Participate in networking events and industry meetings to generate business opportunities.
    • Prepare periodic sales and business development reports.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
    • Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in business development or sales within logistics, courier, freight forwarding industry.
    • Proven track record in corporate sales and client acquisition.
    • Strong understanding of logistics and freight services.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong networking and relationship management skills.
