Charge hand at Judiciary of Kenya

Requirements

For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have: –

1. A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean grade of C-(Minus) or its equivalent;
2. A Diploma in Construction Management, Building Civil Engineering or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
3. Proficiency in computer applications
4. Met the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Undertaking repairs in the areas of specialization;
2. Undertaking installations in the areas of specialization;
3. Routine checks of equipment in the areas of specialization;
4. Managing maintenance of buildings;
5. Setting standards for maintenance of equipment;
6. Liaising with users on maintenance of offices and courts;
7. Preparing of directorate’s maintenance work plan;
8. Coordinating the maintenance of generators, lifts and air conditioners;
9. Coordinating repair works in courts and offices.
